a valley high school teacher admits to kissing a special education student.... and being involved in relationship--that lasted months. now parents want to know how it happened... we're following breaking news out of oregon... the stand off at a wildlife refuge up there has come to a violent head. i'm john huck. i'm christine maddela. cattle rancher cliven bundy's sons were involved.. ryan was shot... and ammon is in police custody tonight. fox 5s cyndi lundeberg talked to cliven bundy tonight. she's live in the newsroom to tell us what he said. john christine.... the situation in oregon began earlier this month... when the bundys and their militia took over the wildlife refuge... i spoke to cliven bundy over the phone.. he says their friend and fellow rancher 'lavoy finnicum' was shot and killed. we can confirm three shots were fired by authorities... one of them hit ryan bundy in the arm... ammon bundy was also arrested...

the group battle born progress petitioned the department of justice to arrest the bundy's. it released a statement thanking authorities for taking action. metro officers forced to shoot a suspect for a second time this year... in this case, police say the suspect stole a car... and pointed a gun at officers when they tried to stop him. fox5's elizabeth watts is live from the scene on pecos and bonanza to tell us where that suspect is now. the man is in the jail after leading police on a chase... before he ditched the stolen car on this corner and ran to a nearby neighborhood to try and get away. customers in mcdonald;s reacted to some thing ladies yelling ok sure.. mike bautista was eating lunch at mcdonald's when an officer involved shooting unfolded on the east side.. next thing you

this is happening he came out to see all kinds of police activity in his neighborhood. metro police say it all started around 2:30 when someone called to report their honda had been stolen. a patrol officer quickly spotted it speeding near washington and marion... and tried to stop it... but it kept driving followed by patrol cars and an air unit... that's when the car stopped on pecos and bonanza.. occupant only one exited vehicle... our air unit saw that the occupant had a firearm in his hand detectives say he then took off running into a neighboring street-ashbury hill. several patrol units went to search for him... and ultimately they located him holding his weapon. one patrol officers unmarked vehicle he saw the suspect come out between two homes he pointed a firearm at the officer he disacharged firearm shot suspect the suspect was arrested and taken to u-m-c for minor injuries... and then booked at the

valley high scool a few months when she began an innapropriate relationship with one of her 17- year- old students... according to the police report lefave was the students special education and english teacher. the relationship started as a friendship, lefave helped him ask his date to homecoming, they started exchanging texts... that eventually led to kissing... in the police report lefave admits to having kissing sessions with the student more than once, she says she touched his genitals, but there was never any penetration. " i applied first, theres a special education shortage so my phone was blowing up, and my dad got a call from valley as well." lafave joined clark county school district in the beginning of the school year... she was featured in an education piece about valley high after being hired to the same school as her father... the report says lafave and the student hung out after school nearly every day. the abuse happened inside the classroom. something which has many parents concerned... we're learning new details about what lead to the arrests of ryan and ammon bundy. when authorities took them into custody in oregon... three shots were fired... one bullet hit ryan bundy... another killed one of their supporters. fox5's cyndi to cliven bundy... and joins us from the newsroom details... this all started in response to them wildlife refuge in harney county i spoke to cliven bundy who tells me his friend ' lavoy finicum' was shot and killed... cliven says his son ammon called his wife as he was being arrested and told her that finnicum had his hands in the air three times by police... cliven says his their way to hold a meeting stopped by the f- sheriff's deputies... assemblywoman spoke with the bundy's and says whoever pulled the trigger... needs to be charged with murder...
