we're learning more about the relationship between a teacher and a special education student. what she admits to doing... and the warning signs child therapists say to watch out for. "your dog killed my dog. what do you have to say? what do you have to say about it??" a confrontation caught on our cameras between two neighbors... after a dog is killed by three others. the dog's owner describes what happened... and where the three dogs who killed hers are tonight. this is fox5 news at 11. local las vegas. we are following breaking news out of oregon. shots fired tonight as authorities take ryan and ammon bundy into custody. i'm christine maddela. i'm john huck. the arrests were in response to the bundy's taking over a wildlife refuge in oregon. cliven bundy tell us his son ryan was shot in the arm... and both his sons remain in custody tonight. fox 5s cyndi lundeberg spoke to cliven bundy...

cliven bundy tells together what happenned today... but says his sons were on their way to a meeting with other ranchers when they were stopped by the f- b-i and harney county authorities... cliven tells fox 5 family friend 'lavoy finnicum was shot and killed by authorities.. both ryan and remain in custody tonight... they are being charged with conspiracy to impede federal officers. three other people were also arested and are facing that same charge... cliven bundy says his sons are good people fighting for all americans... and says what happenned today was wrong. my son had been shot in the arm and lavoy finnicum was, murdered cold blooded murdererd they shot him with his hands up they literally murdered him cliven bundy says their friend ryan payne was also shot and was in the hospital... but he wasn't sure about his current condition. the bundy family ranch released a statement saying -

fox5 news. local. las vegas. the school district says due to her contract - lafave is currently receiving pay - while ordered to stay home. she's not allowed to step foot in the school. the student involved in this case told police he and his teacher jillian lafave were in love...according to the arrest report. child therapists say sexual abuse suspects often work hard, to build a relationship with their victims. it's common for suspects to groom victims before abuse happens. they lower a child's defenses by giving gifts and making them feel special. we spoke to psychotherapist jennifer moore... who says victims don't often realize they were hurt. customers in mcdonald;s reacted to some thing ladies yelling ok sure.. mike bautista was eating lunch at mcdonald's when an officer involved shooting unfolded on the east side.. next thing you know i walk out all this is happening he came out to see all kinds of police activity in his neighborhood. metro police say it all started around 2:30 when someone called to report their honda had been stolen. a patrol officer quickly spotted it speeding near washington and marion... and tried to stop it... but it kept driving followed by patrol cars and an air unit... that's when the car stopped on pecos and bonanza.. occupant only one exited vehicle... our air unit saw that the occupant had a firearm in his hand detectives say he then took off running into a neighboring street-ashbury hill. several patrol units went to search for him... and ultimately they located him

one patrol officers unmarked vehicle he saw the suspect come out between two homes he pointed a firearm at the officer he disacharged firearm shot suspect the suspect was arrested and taken to u-m-c for minor injuries... and then booked at the county jail. police wanted to reiterate there was a firearm located at the scene where the suspect was arrested. he's facing a number of felony charges tonight. reporting live ew ffn llv officers were not hurt in the shooting. new details on the officer involved shooting, that shut down part of the las vegas strip friday night. metro released 9-1-1 calls from the incident, and suggested the suspect wanted to end his life.

north las vegas police say several people heard a man kill his girlfriend in another room. the department released an arrest declaration for marland jackson... the suspect in a homicide we told you about last night. they say he called 9-1-1 to report the 44-year-old victim's death... and later confessed to stabbing her several times. this happened near civic center and evans. police say there were other people in the home when this happened, including children. no one else was hurt. red flag exercises are going on now at nellis air force this program members from around the vegas for advanced training... and is a boost to local businesses. back home with their owner while animal control investigates. the pitbulls' owner says the incident was an accident. she says she was taking the trash out when the dogs ran out behind her. it's national school choice week. parents and educators are using this time, to tell everyone about the variety of educational options. crowds packed the cashman center today. parents spoke about traditional public schools not always meeting individual kids' needs. the education savings account will give parents state money for other educational opportunites like home school or private schools. parents were supposed to start receiving these reimbursements next month, but the program is court. if state is offering this 5,000 it should be equal to all of us. i pay my taxes just like everyone else. i pay for public and private school. this gives more mobility opportunity. and you can spend that

four new hospitals are being built around the valley. but they aren't the large buildings we're used to seeing. "building four new neighborhood hospitals. model nationwide referred to as micro hospitals there really small community hospitals which you might find in smaller town serving 5 to 10 thousand people. dignity health saint rose dominican is teaming up with emerus for the project. these neighborhood hospitals are designed to give more quality service to patients in a smaller setting. the first of the hospitals will open in north las vegas next year. health care is becoming even more convenient for some kids. bob bailey middle school is the first in our valley to offer a clinic on campus.
