after interviewing witnesses - which included construction workers and shoppers - homicide detectives learned the white chevrolet is the victim's car. the victim was seen waiting in the white chevy around 12:30 in the afternoon - when a car witnesses describe as a gray nissan altima drives up to it. up he got into the rear driver side of that vehicle." a reported altercation in the altima leads to gunshots. the altima drives a few feet in the parking lot and then the victim jumps out. "he's seen getting out and having his hands up this is pretty clear from witnesses that was walking by that had and then several more shots are heard and then the vehicle is seen speeding out and then getting on to west cliff and then north on rainbow." "and they were way too fast i tried to get the license plate but it was way do that." police say shootings like this are not unusual - it could be a craigslist robbery

bad. this time - there are plenty of witnesses to help. investgation to learn just what happened. according to preliminary details provided by us by lt. david jacoby with metro, this vehicle traveling eastbound on rancho hit the median between the east and westbound lanes on rancho. the impact caused the tires on the driver's side to deflate. the car then jumped over the median, hitting the bus shelter. nellis... and the other near sunset and mountain vista. according to the department of education - the two locations had 209 active students. the department says it discovered violations - such as requesting federal aid for students based on invalid high school diplomas - students for excessive overtime. marinello said the withheld funds from students for two months - and would not let the to waht it called unfounded allegations. in a letter to students - the school said it did everything in its power to avoid the outcome. the school said it is working on partnerships with other schools to help students finish coursework. marinello also closed schools in california. about 800 employees are affected by the closures. some nevada army guard members are staying prepared. a major exercise out at nellis brought a simulated emergency to life, complete with victims and damaged buildings. a "cerf-p" team attends to all chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and

it includes about 200 specially trained soldiers and airmen who work in hazardous situations. today they simulated the aftermath of an earthquake... showing their rescue skills in a pile of rubble. lawmakers not getting much from martin shkreli... and man nicknamed - quote "the most hated man in america". the former pharmaceutical c-e-o came under fire for dramatically hiking the price of a life-saving drug. as rich edison reports on today's testimony.... or lack of it... on capitol hill.

most hated man in america.... and martin shkreli seemed to only reinforce that image at a congressional hearing on drug pricing. the former turing pharmaceuticals c- e-o smirking, rolling his eyes, and repeatedly refusing to answer questions. chaffetz says: "..what do you say to that sick, old, pregnant woman who might have aids, no income and she needs daraprim in order to survive. what do you say to her when she has to make that choice. what do you say to her? shkreli says: "..on the advice of council i invoke my fifth amendment privilege against self incrimination and respectfully decline to answer your question." the 32-year-old's company raised the price of a drug that treats hiv patients from 13 dollars and fifty cents to 7- hundred-50 dollars a pill. that's a more than 5-thousand percent increase. shkreli's lawyer advised his client refuse to answer questions, and later defended his client's actions. brafman says: "..he did not intend to show any disrespect, he was listening intently and some of what you saw was

more slowly than first projected. a report issued this week by the nevada governor's office of economic development said there 272 people working at factory - at the end of the year. that's lower than the 700 jobs projected in a 2014 report lawmakers used to approve a one-point-three billion tax incentive package for tesla. the company says it has invested 374-million in capital in nevada so far - below the early prediction of one-billion. the state says the discrepancy is due to tesla building in phases rather than all at once - and says the company still plans to employ 65-hundred people at peak production. the facility also includes an investment by panasonic. the deadline has passed.... for someone to claim a california lottery prize - worth 63 million dollars. the winning "super-lotto plus" ticket had to be delivered to a lottery office by 5 p-m today. otherwise - the money will be forfeited to the
