closed captioning will resume this is fox5 news at 11. local las vegas. we're starting off with breaking news stories tonight at 11. i'm christine maddela. i'm john huck. north las vegas police say they've found the van involved in a hit and run crash, year-old girl sunday night. citizens for matching the description of the one from the crash. aren't saying found. that crash killed two-year-old evelyn green, in a neighborhood near pecos and lake mead. her family says the driver did stop, but then took off. the driver is still on the run, and anyone who knows where he is is urged to call police. a caucus controversy-- with less than two weeks to go until the first in the west caucuses begin in the silver state. some locals say they wont be able to take part because of the date and their faith. fox five's elizabeth watts is boulevard near russell with more the democrats

caucus. we have worked to make the caucus process as inclusive as possible by adding strip locations for shift workers, and hosting a tele-caucus for military members and registered nevada voters living overseas." reporting live ew ffn llv. a man was shot and killed right outside his home. and now police are trying to figure out the motive. this happened around one-30 this afternoon, at a neighborhood near mojave and vegas valley. police say the victim got into an argument with a man and a woman. one of them fired at the victim, and he later died at sunrise hospital. one neighbor who didn't want her face shown, says this isn't the first time police have been to the home. "i've called police several times to report suspicious activity. there's actually survellance cameras all over that house. " police aren't sure which person

say the victim knows the suspects. they are still looking for those suspects tonight. if you know anything about this shooting, call crime stoppers at 703-385-55-55. a woman is suing metro police and the officer accused of beating her, for 225 thousand dollars. the woman says in her lawsuit that officer richard scavone caused permanent damage to her face, back and neck. she was arrested in january 2015 on littering and loitering for prostitution charges, and police say that's when she was beaten. the incident was captured on officer scavone's body camera. scavone was fired in september, and is pleading not guilty. a former music school teacher is accused of lewdness with two students, and is now facing charges. north las vegas police arrested william crawford, who used to teach at somerset academy's centennial parkway campus. investigators say allegations against crawford first started in october 2012... but weren't reported to police until june 2014.

claimed crawford physical contact with two 12-year- crawford was arrested yesterday. somerset academy released this statement about the arrest: "during his very brief employment with somerset academy of las vegas and at the time his employment ended, the school was claims against mr. crawford or any police investigation. at this time our thoughts are with those who have these unfortunate circumstances." the couple accused in a young father's death appeared in court today. a lawyer argued the woman charged in the case shouldn't be in jail, because she has a four week old baby. but the judge worried krystal guice might run away. " the behaviors that she did, as far as what she did with the car, the information she gave to police and everything, i felt like she was a flight risk. " police say guice and her boyfriend deonte coleman met with the victim "johnny dee haney" last monday. haney and guice

their four-year- old daughter. coleman is accused of shooting haney several times, and the couple took off with the little girl. the judge asked for a written motion for guice, and set her bail at 35 thousand dollars. there was no bail set for coleman. both are expected back in court later this month. a suspected bank robber led police on a wild chase... eventually crashing on the freeway. police say this started at a u-s bank near russell and 2-15 the speeding get- a-way car crashed on the 215 between durango and buffalo... causing a lot of traffic. the driver was arrested and taken to u-m-c. police haven't said if a weapon was used in the bank robbery, or if the robber got away with anything. a crime of passion, a pair of vegas tourists arrested for sex acts performed 550 feet above the strip... fox5's miguel martinez-valle is live near the high roller observation wheel with the details what this couple now faces.

club, and employees say its been happening more and more lately... a couple decided to hook up in one of the high roller glass cabins, but waiting for them at the end of the ride, the police... when philip panzica and chloe scordianos started their risque ride on the highroller, they probably didnt expect to face potential jail time, but thats exactly what happened after an employee caught them in the act, and called the police... " this is a felony, so that means per statute, they face a minimum of one year in prison if found guilty, plus a fine if deemed by the court." the police report shows the pair were smoking and undressing in one of the glass cabins... the linq employee told them over the intercom to put out the cigarettes and put on some clothes... but they kept going.. thats where things get graphic, the report says security footage shows them both naked, the pair engaged in oral sex, and ignored

" of course everyone wants to come and have a good time here in las vegas, and we welcome that, we want people to enjoy themselves here, but there are certain things that no matter where you are are unacceptable. its day 39 of the armed occupation at oregon's malheur national wildlife refuge. and now a high profile nevada visitor is going there to show her support. nevada assemblywomen michele fiore says she will visit the four remaining occupiers at the refuge. she's going to portland as part of a meeting with other state lawmakers who are upset over b- l-m actions. fiore told us she was upset after seeing the video of rancher lavoy
