metro forwarded calls to north las vegas and henderson during the outage... today we asked metro if there had been any complaints because of the failure they said there weren't any that they were of... they did say with confidence that the failure was not caused by a hack... because their firewall was still intact... currently the department is getting additional equipment... adding back up phone lines should the primary phone lines fail and they will also be setting up an offsite call center which will assist the main call center... ultimately tho they said they cannot control technology...
