machete. the suspect- tolavious timmons facing felony charges. nicky had to have emergency surgery but is said to be in good spirits and acting as if nothing had happened. timmons also said to have picked up and flipped over a 600 pound robot that had sent in before nicky had to go in... and damaged that as well. so he's facing multiple charges including felony attacking a police animal.. also damaging and destroying state property. reporting live ew ffn llv according to nevada law- mistreating a police animal is a felony and punishable with up to four years in prison and ten thousand in fines. a gunman is still on the run after an argument turns deadly. it happened around nine last night at an apartment complex on karen avenue. that's near sahara and lamb. police say two men were arguing outside when one of them was shot. officers found the victim on the ground. he was taken to sunrise trauma center where he

police say a suspect has not been arrested... but they are looking for 44- year-old lacy howard as a person of interest. anyone with information about this homicide should call police or crimestoppers 7-0-2-3-8-5-55-55. there is still no answer to what caused metro's 911 system to crash two weeks ago today-- but police are explaining how they're trying to prevent the problem from happening again. fox 5s cyndi lundeberg is live at metro headquarters after asking police what may have gone wrong. metro says they don't know exactly what caused the six hour crash but believe it had to do with a surge of data which flooded their system and overwhelmed it... metro forwarded calls to north las vegas and henderson during the outage... today we asked metro if there had been any complaints because of the
