"today we remember her legacy as a true nevadan with a fierce devotion to her constituents and state... particularly to education and the children of nevada. i will personally miss her greatly and nevada will miss her leadership." the governor has ordered all flags

to half-staff until the the day of her funeral. the general manager and co- owner of findlay toyota has passed away. a memorial service took place for rich abajian at the south poi arena. family says he died on february ninth at his home in henderson from natural causes. two-year starter on the football team for u-n-r... then became an assistant coach football. he joined findlay automotive in 19-83. it's been one of dealerships in the nation. he also helped start the southern nevada sports hall of fame. "we had to have service in arena just for him speaks volume about impact on southern nevada and automotive. its really a sad farewell but were glad so many showed up to honor rich." "he gave to unlv youth sports and to employees such a motivator mentor remembered in lots of ways but its all just positive influence that he had on people in southern nevada."

a young man unconscious in a coma after an early morning crash friday. his mom says he was on his way home from work when a driver hit him... then took off. trent turnbo was on his way home from his job at hakkasan nightclub... when his mom says he was hit by a car. it happened sometime after four in the morning friday... after he got off the bus near trop and jones... his family found out hours later after he had been rushed to u-m-c... where he's been unconscious all weekend... karen turnbo/mother he had a brain injury he has bleeding in the brain, they say it's minimal but he still hasn't woke up. his mom and sister say they're starting to see signs of improvement.. he's started to move a little bit and looks like he tries to open his eyes. metro police say the driver took off after impact.... and about five a-m they got calls of the man lying in the street... karen turnbo says her 21 year old son... is a good man and didn't deserve this.. karen turnbo/mother he's the kid that everybody likes... he

struck by a hyundai after stepping off the median. the driver did not stop. police say a witness followed the car until an officer could do a traffic stop. the driver identified as 48- year-old robert russell failed sobrie ttyests. he was arrested for felony hit- and-run and suspicion of d-u-i. the victim is in serious condition at u-m-c. d-u-i is suspected in a deadly crash near the m resort. here's a look at the traffic cam around 1-30 a-m near the i-15 and saint rose parkway. nevada highway patrol says the man riding the bike died at the scene. the driver of the off-road vehicle was taken to u-m-c with non-life threatnening injuries. troopers say he's being investigated for driving under the influence. to the weather now... we're starting to get used to the seventies... but how long will they last? les is here with his first look at weather. one more day of great weather then a quick cool down

news at ten. local las vegas. an up-and-coming nascar driver and his family are showing the las vegas community some love by giving out meals. the-twelve-year old driver dezel west spent this afternoon feeding the homeless near washington and main street. he was joined by his group of racing friends. dezel teamed up with a non-profit group called "team us" for the project. they say the feeling of making someone's day was the reason they wanted to help out those in need. "you get to go home at night and you get to be proud of what you did today and that's another amazing thing and you also get to know that these people now, they're getting more and more and it's awesome to know that you're helping out." you can catch dezel at the "kobalt 400" at the las vegas motor speedway. it's from march fourth through the sixth. a washington couple take their wedding to new heights. the duo tied the knot 30-thousand feet in the air during a flight! fox's jamie tompkins shows us

michigan-- stunned, after a shooting spree saturday night. police say 45-year- old jason dalton drove around the area of kalamazoo, shooting innocent people in three different locations. hadley says: "as far as i know, it was completely random, that mr. dalton had encountered those folks in the parking lot and just began shooting at them inside the vehicle. a father and his eight-year-old son are among the people killed. dalton was taken into custody, but police say there's no clear reason why he started the rampage. hadley says: "he didn't struggle, there wasn't a fight, he seemed unaffected by what was going on and they found that obviously pretty surprising based on what they believed he had done at the time." dalton's neighbors-- saying they would never expect he could be capable of something like this. landon says: "he mainly stuck to himself. played music all night long. living here for the last three years i never seen anything distress going on or any problems." members of the community say it's hard to fathom what happened without a clear motive. hopewell says: this was so random. if this was gang violence, there's ways and interventions;

when a random individual decides to be evil i don't know how you stop that . the uber company confirms dalton was one of their drivers... but the company is not confirming information on social media claiming he was working the night of the attacks. some victims of the san bernardino terror attacks will file a motion to oppose apple on i-phone encryption. they hope it will force apple to unlock the encrypted phone belonging to a shooter of the massacre. a lawyer representing a victim says they want to know why they were targeted by the shooters. this comes after apple said they would not grant access of the shooter's phone to the justice department. apple says it infringes on the privacy rights of their customers to let government access phones. now fox5 weather

a popular bible story comes to life in kentucky. it's a life-size replica of noah's ark. it's more than 500 feet long and 51 feet tall. three floors are held together with timber structures. design teams are working on creating animals for the cages. project organizers hope it answers skeptical questions about the story of "noah's ark" in the bible. "what we want to show people is this is feasible because we believe it actually happened. if people go away saying hmm maybe i'll go read that account of the bible, maybe i'll look at the bible, maybe i'll consider that then that's great." all money raised for the 100-million dollar project was from donors.
