allot and sometimes it doesn't no question this video of a burglary last month in the valley is going to make great evidence when these perps are arrested. in this case as you can see from this video these guys took their time looking for stuff to steal. the thieves are pretty brazen. they go inside, they begin to ransack the home looking under couch cushions and drawers they ended up finding and taking both jewelry and and undisclosed amount of cash. the suspects thought they would get away with it after stealing the camera. but police say what they didn't know... the camera was connected to either a hard drive or a cloud. the last image... a close up of one of the suspects posing in front of the camera. metro pio michael rodriguez says this footage is a great tool for detectives obviously we can get great video or at least still photos of suspects and it works great for evidence. but there is a caveat to home surveillance
10:12 pm
rodriguez says putting it out there on the internet on social media is all about timing and all about doing it after detectives have seen and used the video as part of their investigation-- first. crime fighting doesn't take place on the internet. it takes place with our detectives with our officers who do old fashioned police work and use social media as a tool often guys like these three target homes in the same neighborhood. putting video on social media before cops can use it could scare away the suspects making them harder to catch. police know that a burglary is a violation of your personal space. they want to make sure that the evidence a home security camera gives them is used properly. lets show the faces of these three to see if we can find them. one suspect is a black male mid 20's about 150 pounds wearing his hair is shoulder-lengh dreadlocks the second suspect is a black male early 20's about 6 foot 1 also about 150 pounds and wears his hair in short twists. the third suspect
