we're getting a clearer picture of what led a suspect to throw a puppy out of a third story window. danny bb facing two animal cruelty charges in the death of the dog named cannon. a report shows webb told police the dog made a mess inside the apartment while webb was on an upsetting phone call. that prompted the 25-year-old to put the dog on the patio and slap it hard enough to cause it to fly from the balcony. a neighbor says she tried to help the dog, but webb told her if she tried to bring him back up... the dog would be thrown down again. the chihuahua mix was rushed to a veterinarian, but his injuries were too severe and he was euthanized.

rooster fighting operation... discovered in their home. "silvester gayton" and "javier salgado" are each facing two counts of owning... training... and promoting animal fighting. officers found more than 500 roosters on their property.... and say the birds were being trained and bred for fights. metro's animal cruelty unit says this is the largest cock fighting ring they've ever shut down in the state... and they believe it has been going on for some time. hillary clinton started her morning doing a job store of a local company and ended right here at the electrical workers union where she address the full room about her plans for the countries and nevada's job future she took the stage with senator harry reid but not before being introduced by dina titus and catherine cortez masto who called her the next president but had less than kind things to say about her opponent donald trump . clinton quickly laid out her support for more infrastructure out her support for more infrastructure projects which will hopefully lead to more jobs "for every billion dollars we get 47,500 jobs and they are mostly good paying union jobs with a good middle-class income"

wildfires are raging in california - and forcing people from their homes. as jonathan hunt reports - the weather is making the situation a tough task for firefighters. mos says and animals i've got to get out of here. as california is reaching the peak of an already grueling fire season -- cox says: the weather is still hot and we are also getting some additional winds a wildfire burning in the northern part of the state is forcing more families from their homes-- with some having only minutes to decide what to take with them as the fire came roaring their way... mos says: they recommending we leave, so we are listening to the firemen.

ironically-named "cold fire" is burning across yolo county near sacramento. the extreme hot weather and winds are not making things easy for fire crews-- attacking from above, and with hose lines on the ground. cox says: everything from jets to small air tankers, as well as helicopters and rotary-wing resources. but, the cold fire isn't the only one causing problems in the state. further south, the fire burning near the central coast isn't even halfway contained, with some evacuations still in place but, people in these areas say, it's just something to always be ready for. parrish says: we do pack up and were ready to go by june every year tag: wildfire season in northern california typically lasts from may to september, peaking in august. but with the extreme summer heat and prolonged drought, experts are warning, things could get worse
