evacuation warnings. the fire is also affecting the main route between las vegas... and los angeles. interstate 15 is closed in both directions for about 20 miles in cajon pass area. that's between san bernardino and victorville. if you must drive to southern california tonight... take note of the alternative routes we have mapped out on fox five vegas dot com. th on when the blue cut fire will be contained. more than 13- hundred firefighters are working hard... in harsh weather firefighters are working hard... in harsh weather conditions. two of them suffered minor injuries - but accordinig to san bernardino fire - injuries - but accordinig to san bernardino fire - are already out of the hospital - and back on duty. fox five has team coverage of this story... live from southern california. we'll check in with eric hilt in just a moment...

join abb theodros... with the latest in the effort to battle the blue cut fire. this fire has been moving rapidly. two hours ago we were sitting in a thick layer of smoke- now things have cleared enough that we can show you some of the damage done here along highway 138. road closures from i 15 all the way up to ranchero road and 173...causing a lot of problems for commuters in both las vegas and southern california.

we'll have more on crews' efforts... and the latest on traffic conditions. and tensions were high... during a u-f-c 202 press conference. what fighters conor mcgregor and nate diaz threw at each other... delta is bringing a little more privacy to its customers. the airline announced it will start offering an all-suite business class for international flights. fliers will be seated in their own personal space called "delta one suites." the suites will fit one flier... have a flat-bed seat... an 18-inch entertainment individual storage space... and give direct aisle access. that means no climbing over another passenger when going to the bathroom. delta one suites will first be available on the airline's new airbus a-350 fleet in fall 2017. delta plans to add the suites to its boeing 777 fleet by 2020. thanks for joining us.. fox5 news at 6

$2.99 for a limited time. value, done my way. this is fox5 news at 6. local. las vegas thousands of firefighters continue to battle a massive fire in the cajon pass... that's forced more than 82- thousand people from their homes. here's a look at the flames up close last night. it's burned more than 30-thousand acres. california governor jerry brown has declared a state of emergency in the san bernardino county. the fire has shut down major transportation routes... including the i-15 from las vegas to los angeles. the fire started tuesday morning. fire crews say it's growing at a rapid pace. here's a look at the timelapse video showing just how fast it's spread last night. the fire has destroyed nearly 35-thousand homes.
