"when democratic policies fail, they are left with only this one tired argument. you're racist, you're racist, you're racist. they keep saying it. you're racist. it's a tired, disgusting argument. trump also says the democratic nominee is "bullying" voters out of voting for change. a new flyer being passed out at the university of wisconsin- milwaukee... isn't sitting well with some incoming students. "i feel like it's censorship." as the fall term gets underway - the school's "inclusive excellence center"... is promoting its "just words" campaign. they have a list of words and phrases they think shouldn't be used on campus - bringing attention to

"it seems a lot of people's feelings are getting hurt right now for anything." a stunning loss for uber this year. bloomberg reports the ride- hailing company has posted second-quarter losses exceeding 750-million dollars. this comes after losing 520-million in the first quarter. that puts uber on track to lose more than one- billion in the first half of 2016. according to uber's head of finance... huge expenses for uber's drivers are responsible for the majority

found murdered - inside the home where they lived in mississippi. the bodies were found by a police officer in jackson - after the two women failed to report to work as usual. investigators didn't release a motive and it wasn't clear if their religious work had anything to do with the killings. the assistant police chief says it's too early to say how the nuns

shot. one was a member of a church in kentucky. the other was from milwaukee. a 59-year-old woman is dead - after falling from the platform of a zip-line ride in delaware. it happened at the "go ape tree top adventure" theme park. witnesses says tina werner was nearing the end of the course - when she disconnected herself from a safety system. police say she them tumbled 35 feet - from a platform between zip-lines. the park says werner underwent the required safety training beforehand. "the staff basically takes you through how to hook up to the wires as you're going through all the obstacles, but after you get up there, it's kind of up to you to make sure you're hooked up safe." the woman was treated by paramedics - before being rushed to the hospital and declared dead. the number of heroin related overdoses is making headlines across the country. there have been a rash of overdoses in ohio,

past few weeks - and just today - the centers for disease control said urgent action is needed to fight opiod addiction. dianne gallagher has this report. the sound of sirens. a soundtrack to a crisis in middle america as the heroin epidemic appears to be getting more dangerous. (richard henson, cincinnati resident) i am very disturbed about it. it really saddens my heart. 28 overdoses in a west virginia county, in one night last week. tuesday, 12 people overdosed in an indiana community. and in the cincinnati ohio area, 36 on wednesday alone and 90 overdoses since this weekend, leading to a total of 5 deaths in those areas. (mos) it's everywhere, i mean i pretty much knew. it looked like he overdosed on drugs. authorities believe these particular overdose spikes are due to what they call "bad batches", heroin laced with other substances. in the cincinnati cases, they suspect carfentanil, an elephant tranquilizer. authorities are struggling to keep up. virginia ems) when you have that many overdoses, like yesterday in that short period of time, it taxes your resources. last week, the obama administration announced $17 million in funding aimed at prevention and at stopping the supply of opiates. the d.e.a. busted a semi-truck in new york this week with more than $2 million worth of heroin stuffed in its axles. the c.d.c. today calling for urgent public action, releasing a report showing a sharp increase in opioid- related overdose deaths, an increase in counterfeit prescription pills, and specifically in ohio and florida, heroin laced with the strong opioid fentanyl, which is what investigators believe killed the singer, prince earlier this year. (joe ciccarell, huntington, west virginia police chief) the substances involved are exactly what addicts are seeking out. it draws like flies to sugar. in washington, dianne gallagher. some states - including nevada - are reporting a rise in heroin use as many addicts shift from more costly and harder-to-get prescription opiates to the cheaper alternative. the chimney fire... continues to be a tough fight... in
