" i'm just so distraught that he's gone because i think it was wrongfully, i don't think that that somebody should have been shot in the back while they're highway patrol says information from the investigation so far discredits the story that gibbon's was shot in the back... gibbon's loved ones hope as the investigation goes on, theyre given some more details on his death. las vegas wanted hockey - it got it. now some in las vegas want football .. but at what cost? the majority of the almost 2- billion dollars will be private money .. but it's the 750-million in public money that's raising questions. and as fox5's eric hilt shows us .. whoever makes the final decision has a lot of opinions to weigh. workers at the best little wedding chapel of the west were happy to hear an nfl stadium could be built at the bali hai golf resort... nats cars and built right across the street. night, a third of people said the stadium wasn't a good investment. the big problem? the big price tag... sands corp and the raiders want clark county to pay 750 million dollars - a figure they say they're not budging on. "sands made it clear they need $750 million" the 750 million taxpayer dollars would be the most ever used to build an nfl stadium. "we got folks who really really oppose putting a dime of public money in the stadium so there's two sides of the coin here" and the committee is running out of time to figure out which side of the coin to recommend to state lawmakers... committee says during a special session, the legislature could send the decision back to clark county and make the 7 county commissioners choose. "they could say okay now you authorize the increase and you issue the bonds because they can't and that would require a two thirds vote from the commission i don't know if that's going to happen, that's another unanswered question" but after months unanswered questions -- sisolak says a stadium decision is close.
