service inside the building.... from the thomas and mack..im vince sapienza... 16 law enforcement agencies teamed up today for a type of training thats a first for nevada. the joint-exercise prepared officers for what they say is one of the most serious cr child abductions. fox5's eric hilt got a close look at the exercise, and shows us what agents say parents can do to help in these situations. "in the case of a child abduction, that is one of the msot serious crimes you'll run into as a police officer" and law enforcement agencies from across the state have spent the week preparing just in case they do run into that situation. 15 departments teamed up with the fbi for a weeklong training session. "we've always worked with our federal partners, but this is a first where we've brough all these

the iphone and on android. medical examiners confirmed the death of a woman who was a passenger in a vehicle that was in a crash last friday. 25 year-old jessica sanchez died while under treatment at u-m-c wednesday. the clark county coroner's office said her cause and manner of death remained pending. sanchez was a passenger in a car that was in a crash involving another car and pedestrian. it happened one week ago today - near maryland parkway and charleston. boulevard, police said. the 19 year old behind the wheel -- raul espinoza -- was arrested after police say he tried to leave the scene of the crash. he could face additional charges after sanchez's death. a metro officer is recovering - after being hit by a car - and thrown onto the street. the crash happened just after four this morning - near tropicana and durango. metro says a sedan driver was speeding, and hit the officer from behind. metro says that driver is 19-year- old david williams. williams kept going for about one thousand feet before stopping.

to solar power customers. the decision affects about 32- thousand customers who installed or applied for a rooftop solar system before this year. the commission's vote today seals a settlement between n-v energy... solar- city... the state bureau of consumer protection... and the commission's staff. customers who signed up before a rate hike took effect this year will be grandfathered into lower rates for the next 20 years effective in december. commissioners raised rates for rooftop solar customers this year -ay corrected a subsidy that non- solar customers were paying for those who had panels. solar companies that wanted to reverse the ruling failed to get a repeal measure on november's statewide ballot - and have since settled on the regulatory solution. more than 30 teams are ready to compete in a barbeque competition this weekend. it's called "pigs for kids"... and benefits groups dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. fox five chief meteorologist ted
