live from las vegas, fox5 news at 10 starts now a valley doctor... arrested-- accused of touching a patient inappropriately it's one a-m in north carolina and still the streets are filled with protestors... we take you to the violent protests. we are one step closer to a new stadium-- and an n-f-l team in the valley. a special session has been called... when lawmakers are expected to meet this is fox5 news at 10. local. las vegas. a valley doctor accused of inappropriately touching a patient. i'm dave hall in for john huck tonight. i'm christine maddela. fox5's faith tanner set out to track down the doctor who's now out on bond. this is doctor jorge burgos -- polcie arrested the north las vegas internal medicine doctor this morning.. it happened at his office on east lake mead near civic center-- he is accused of inappropriately touching a patient... on several occassions. he's facing

lewdness. tonight though -- he's a free man. after posting a 6- thousand dollar bond. we put calls in to the 50 year old's office... after we couldn't reach anyone... we stopped by his medical office in person. we also visited a home address under his name in north las vegas. the woman who awnsered the door -- claimed he no longer lived there. online... we found patient complaints for burgos and his practice.. ranging from long appointment wait times... to a rude office staff... to billing issues.. along with some good reviews. but nothing about inappropriate behavior with patients. tonight we're also learning--- doctor burgos has been in practice for more than 20 years. he has no record of disciplinary actions by the state board of medical examiners. police believe there could be more victims out there.... if you have any information-- you are asked to call crimestoppers at 702-385-55-55.

casino was evacuated and parts of the las vegas strip shut down after a security officer reported a suspicious package. multiple agencies, including metro's bomb squad, responded to the stratosphere. they investigated a backpack left unattended in the hotel lobby... they say the back pack was beeping... by the end of the investigation they were able to determine the bag contained medical equipment... nothing dangerous... even though it turned out to be a false alarm... law enforcement says their big response " you look around the world and these are the steps i promise you as a city and as a multi jurisdictional operation... were gonna take each and every time to protect our tourists our local men and woman who live and work in this area.. " stratosphere officials did send us a statement saying they evacuated employees and guests as a precaution. the las evgas strip has since opened back up and the stratosphere is running business as ussual.

man- police found covered in blood... holding a baseball bat at the scene of a double homicide at a valley apartment complex.... this is frank interlicchia-- he was arrested tuesday afternoon near tropicana and swenson. police found a man and woman... beaten to death inside the apartment they shared with interlicchia. interlicchia now faces two counts of murder charges and one count of home invasion. breaking news in north carolina ... where the governor has declared a state of emergency in charlotte after protests against a deadly police shooting have turned violent again tonight. dianne gallagher is in charlotte tonight and joins us live.. good evening. .. what is happeneing on the streets right now?

the next step in building a new nfl stadium happened a few hours ago... nevada governor brian sandoval called for a special session of the legislature. 63 lawmakers will meet next month to make the 1.9 billion dollar decision. to put this political process in football terms... expect to see a lot of blocking... tackling... and hail mary's these next few weeks. the possibility of the las vegas raiders took a big step forward today... governor brian sandoval offically called for a special session of the nevada legislature... that session is set to take place no sooner than october 7th... and no later than october 13th. by doing this... the governor is playing a political game of football himself... he'll be trying to score enough votes before the clock runs out on him.
