"it happened to be the attendance lady, who told her she was fine and go back to class, twice." for three plus hours, lleyan was forced to stay in class till the final bell rang..in pain...with what doctors later told marki was a fractured elbow. "we were shocked she went on for the rest of the school day, i would at least expect a note, at the very least or a phone call, because we give our emergency contact information at the beginning of the year." marki even said she tried contacting lleyans teacher directly on dojo. an app that allows instant communication

dropping off her little girl at daycare. fox5's adam herbets spoke to family... and joins us live from where it happened -near boulder station. the mom doesn't blame the neighborhood or the daycare.... she just blames the guy who attacked her as she was getting out of her car right in this area. she says it was almost 5 in the morning... she was on her way to work... and she didn't want to give up her car, until she saw the guy had a knife... and a gun. at that point she said look, my 4 year old baby girl is the most important thing. she didnt want to take any chances, so she gave him her keys. take a look -- this is the car we're looking for. its a 2016 hyundai elantra. she just bought it a couple months ago. the license plate is 89b 541 and now mom is just trying to figure out how to explain this to her little girl... who saw the whole

mountain-view hospital - with stab wounds. metro the person arrived at the hospital just be afternoon. when officers arrived - the person was already dead. a second person - who may have a connection to the first - was also treated at the hospital - for injuries that aren't known at this time. police say they are investigating a scene near washington and rancho that may be connected. the identity of the man shot by an angry customer inside a valley starbucks sunday is 41-year-old aleksandr khutsishvili we are learning more about him.. and the suspected shooter.

jacob is live at that starbucks which reopened this afternoon... and has new details from the arrest report for pedro garcia. guys.... there is a lot in this report. we now know garcia ordered a bottle of water.. when his card didn't work.. the person working the drive through told him to go ahead and go on through. he then parked and walked into the starbucks where he shot 41- year-old kut-zek feely. the report describes the 9-1-1 call that garcia made to police. he reported that he did shoot a man because that man appeared to be reaching for something... he also requested medical help. when the dispatcher tried to get more information... the report says garcia can be heard saying 'go for it dog', i'm not gonna tell you again.' dispatch also heard garcia say

that's when the dispatcher told him to put the gun down and walk outside to officers. garcia exited and was taken into custody. the report goes on to describe witness interviews who were told to get on the ground... and who saw garcia take 3 shots. garcia told police he had had 3 beers that day but had not taken any drugs. according to the report garcia also told police he saw a man stand up and reach for something and then another man shot him... garcia told police that's when he fled and he does not have a cell phone or a gun. when police told garcia he may be identified on video... he said he would say he didn't remember shooting anyone. reporting live...kathleen

according to garcia's facebook... he went to rancho high school. all we know about the victim is that aleksandr khutsishvili once lived downtown... and is a 41-year- old male, we're working to find out more about him now. a 63-year-old man charged with sex trafficking and child prostitution was in court today. police say david coil lured young girls through craigslist... into a sex trafficking ring he ran out of his home. today he waived his right to a preliminary trial. his next stop is district court where he can face a jury or attempt more negotiations. the judge repeated several times that coil will not be able to come back to the clark county court room. "is the jury optional? or required?" thats something you need to talk to your attorney about whether you waive your right to a jury or not. that's some issue that you've got to discuss with your attorney. all i'm letting you know is, there's no negotiations. coil was arrested back in may.

asked walmart to bake a cake... for her father's retirement party from the police department. she says she was shocked - when the store's bakery refused to make a cake that said "blue lives matter".
