henderson man who died after being shot before crashing into a light pole early monday morning. according to the clark county coroner's office, the victim in the case was christopher stewart, 49. his cause and manner of death remained pending tuesday. henderson police said about 3:53 a.m., dispatchers received a 911 call from stewart who said he had been shot. while on the line, the man crashed his vehicle into a light pole located near anthem and bicentennial parkways. the man was taken to st. rose dominican hospital - siena campus, where he was pronounced dead. henderson detectives believe the victim had been at the bar, located at 11624 bermuda rd., until about 3:45 a.m.
