casino on the strip. and he spent a lot of time at both events. at the first speech... especially because it was a more private event... he did take questions from the audience. people asked him about immigration... black lives matter... how to fix the gridlock in congress... and he spent a lot of time trying to answer all of those questions. then -- after that he -- made it over to the mgm grand hotel and casino to surprise the people who work there. most of them had no idea he was coming -- some of them had no idea who he was... but he spent plenty of time shaking hands, introducing himself, taking pictures with people. he even spoke spanish to a lot of the people who worked there -- because he is fluent. of course -- all of this sounds very positive... but that doesn't mean tim kaine didn't take some shots at donald trump along the way. he said... ever since the conventions... he's noticed that the republican's negative campaign needs to stop. "this is the book that was donald trump's intro... crippled america...

when i was one year old, i was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on my spinal chord. but i spent my whole life fighting back. so you can imagine what i thought when i saw donald trump say... "i don't know what i said, ah, i don't remember!" "that reporter he is talking about suffers from a chronic condition that impairs movement of his arms." i don't want a president who makes fun of me. i want a president who inspires me, and that's not donald trump.

i'm one of the lucky ones. there are many women who depend on planned parenthood for that kind of screening and care. so i'll never understand politicians like congressman heck, who tried to defund planned parenthood. he was even willing to shut down the government over it. heck was opposed to roe v. wade and tried to criminalize abortion. that's just shameful, it's just wrong, it doesn't help anybody. congressman heck does not share my values.
