away from the third and final debate. it will cost our city four million dollars out of the convention and visitor authority's bank account-- but estimates show it will bring more than fifty million dollars in publicity to southern nevada. as the presidential nominees prepare to take the stage for the last time together at unlv.. set up has already begun on campus. parking lots will shut down this friday... and that has many students inconvenienced. fox-5's vince sapienza spoke with some of them who say they're trying to survive.... and he joins us in front of the thomas a more...vince... john..cyndi.. a common campus complaint u-n-l-v students have is parking... or lack their of.... and for the next week and a half.... the small number of spots will shrink... in fact they already have..... with set up already underway.. half the parking lot in front of thomas and mack.. is closed off to workers... and starting friday it's only going to get worse.... qot: how is parking normally? "i actually park over in the tropicana lot." qot: and what is going through your head when you here they're going to be all shutdown? "considering most of my classes are cancelled, i'm ok with it." "a lot of my classes are actually cancelled because of the parking situation." students usually rejoice when they hear cancelled classed. but with this weeks special circmstances, that's not the case. "the classes now have to be longer that we do take because we're taking off, so i'm taking a two and a half hour class instead an hour and a half class." unlv tell me despite the loss of all the premium parking. they have opened 58-hundred alternative parking spots. but more than half of those are at mccarran airport..

in august, a clark county court issued a notice of intent to seek punishment as a habitual criminal. he was scheduled to go to trial in december. bowling had pleaded guilty to his charges but was set to be sentenced this week. it was a tense day at two local schools after a fight broke out friday night between dozens of rival high school students... and it was all caught on camera. now school police are asking for anyone with information to come forward. the fight happened after arbor view high school beat centennial hills in a football game. the fight spilled over into a raising canes and in-and- out. detectives believe there are some students who left the scenes before talking to police. they also say the primary suspects have not been identified. four people were hospitalized, including one girl with very serious injuries. people driving along the east side of the valley often run into some problems at rainbow and russell. there is a lot of construction going on... and it won't end for several months! fox5's ken smith shows us how the end result will
