murder. fox5's eric hilt has been digging through documents, trying to find out why that man was still allowed to be around other inmates. in september, franklin sharp was caught trying to kill his cellmate while in the clark county detention center according to court documents. but after that assault, sharp was allowed to be around other inmates...and police say on saturday he attacked a new cellmate...this time killing him. "how, how does that happen? where's the st where's the security?" questions linger, after jermiah bowlings was found dead inside his cell at the clark county detention center over the weekend. questions that are now growing as reports show the inmate accused of murdering bowlings -- frankin sharp -- had tried to kill another inmate inside the jail just a month earlier. "sharp was initially booked into the clark county detention center back in june... in this arrest report, police say sharp approached a stranger at this bus stop at the intersection of cheyanne and rainbow and asked him for money. when that man said no, police say sharp pulled out a knife

beg for his life" less than three months after the robbery -- corrections officers say they caught sharp trying to kill another inmate inside the jail. these arrest reports say security video showed sharp grabbing his cellmate's sheets, and choking him with them -- before officers intervened. after the attack, sharp was charged with battery -- but he was allowed to be around other inmates -- even getting a new cellmate...jeremia h bowlings...who would be found beaten and strangled in the cell a month after attack. according to the arrest report, on saturday officers found bowlings on the floor in a pool of blood. when police asked what happened -- sharp said "he would not let me look out the window" ""i just dont see how this happens, i dont see it at all, and they're in the wrong, they should have protected my little brother" we reached out to the clark county detention center to ask why -- after sharp had already attempted to kill one inmate -- he was allowed to have another cell mate. jail officials say

killed." a minnesota man is under arrest after police say he fired a rifle... claiming he was shooting at a zombie. the 24-year-old suspect was not on drugs but police say he was intoxicated. police say ryan stanislaw was carrying a loaded a-r fifteen rifle. this all happened in the north saint paul area on saturday. his neighbor woke up to the sound of a gunshot and into his home... that nearly hit him. quaale says: "bullet came in here, right in here and hit this wall here and hit this one, back and went behind this dresser here." quaale says: "the bed's going this way and i was laying right here." quaale says: "all i heard was a big gunshot. i knew it was a gunshot and then i heard the window come shattering all over my head." the suspected shooter was convicted of making terrorist- like threats back in september. the suspect now faces charges of endangering safety and possession of a firearm. incredible video shows a man being chased by police and running on to a busy texas highway... without getting hit.
