trump supporters showed up outside the smith center... to protest against hillary clinton. a man is wanted for robbing several businesses... as well as a carjacking in henderson. here's a look a the suspect in the most recent robbery at a dairy queen... near windmill and pecos. after the suspect got an ice cream cone... he showed the employee a gun... then took off with cash. police say the same suspect is believed to be responsible for similar robberies at another dairy queen... sweet addiction... walgreens... and a carjacking all in henderson. the vehicle was a nissan rogue. another man is on

week. it happened at a western union inside a smith's near charleston and hualapai. police say the man handed an employee a note... then took off with money. police say no weapons were seen.... and no one was hurt. a person of interest is wanted for a deadly stabbing inside an apartment. police say the victim was walking through the lobby with this man... before the victim was found dead inside his apartment. it happened around eight last night near flamingo and maryland parkway. police say the victim lived alone. police say the victim's vehicle is it's a 2015 honda fit with nevada license plates. anyone with information about this person of interest or the victim's car should call police or crimestoppers. the number is 7-0- 2-3-8-5-55-55. a violent incident at a valley high school is caught on camera. it happened today at canyon springs high school. someone was filming as students and adults were yelling at one another... and then wrestled to the ground. fox5's adam

of one of the students seen in the video. before the fight even broke out... kids pulled out their cell phones... but they didnt expect to capture this on camera. a freshman girl... body slammed to the ground... not from another student but from one of the administrators. she was thrown like a rugrat then he got on top of her and layed there and pressed her face after it already hit the concrete. mom sent us these pictures... the damage to her little girl's face... and she says shes pressing charges. she is not no animal. she is my child. that's not the way you do things. she says her daughter also injured her back. shes doing okay... but the embarrassment is almost just as bad... because the administrator went too far. somebody at the kids at the school look up to. somebody that the kids at the school should be able to run to, to talk to, to explain things to.

as shocked. that's horrible man. i think they're showing the kids that's a bad example because he didn't have to do all that. he really didn't. he put his hands on a woman like that? i still don't understand that. and this comes nearly a week after a massive fight between centennial and arbor view students. it was also caught on camera! the brawl happened at a raising cane's and in-and-out after a rival foot game. centennial has a game set for friday against shadow ridge. clark county school district says the principals from both schools have agreed to add security for the upcoming football game. metro police and school police will be there. nevada lawmakers take the day off in a special session to bring an n-f-l stadium to las vegas. but they'll be back at it tomorrow! we'll tell you what's expected to happen in the next meeting. plus...

state lawmakers were out of session today... in a special meeting on the future of an n-f-l stadium here in las vegas. fox5 sports director kevin bolinger has been following the special session in carson city. he shows us what was done today, and what we can expect tomorrow. it's been a quiet day here on the capitol grounds as lawmakers are off for the jewish holiday. but there was still a lot of work being done behind the scenes to get ready for the gavel to drop again on thursday. all with the ultimate goal of ending up in this building behind me, the state capitol, and inside the governor's office so he can potentially sign senate bill 1 and assembly bill 1 into law. nats of senate vote when the state senate passed the

halloween comes early for kids stuck in the hospital receiving treatment. today -- volunteers from spirit halloween stores brought the holiday to them! the group visited the children's hospital of nevada at u-m-c. it's part of their "spirit of children" program -- which works to make kids smile and laugh. the children got to pick out their very own costumes... play games... and make crafts. "we bring party to them they cant go out and have their own." "this is the day we look forward to every year. my staff myself we circle on calendar it honestly makes it we can this year. i think we enjoy this more than the kids do." the "spirit of children" program has raised more than 200-thousand dollars for the children's hospital at u-m-c. a new technology and innovation hub plans to opens its doors this weekend. the university of phoenix announced that teams are already starting to move in to the "redflint experience center". the company says the facility is the first of its kind in downtown las
