who police shot and killed after they say he pointed what appeared to be a fake gun at them. i'm cyndi lundeburg in for christine. i'm john huck. four different angles of the shooting were recorded. fox5's kathleen jacob joins us live after going through all of the video and talking to police. kathleen? guys...the video shows four officers shooting 36 rounds total at 50-year-old rex wilson. and from one angle... you actually see a panicked officer who thought he'd been hit. take a look. you good? checks head (video of officer being freaking out)) the officer in that video thought he had been shot in the face after he fired multiple shots at wilson. that was after a high speed chase wilson led them on. they tried to stop him multiple times with different pit maneuvers and stop sticks... when they finally surrounded him.. they say he pulled out and pointed what they thought was a hand gun. it was actually just a spray nozzel wrapped in black tape to look like a gun. police originally went after wilson after someone

vehicle.. they were able to link that vehicle to a car that had been stolen in henderson at gun point. wilson's wife actually reported him missing on october 12th... and records show he made calls to a suicide hotline and a life insurance company. " detectives found that wilson had written in his own blood on the display screen in the vehicle the word sorry.
