it the spin room is because after the debate we are planning on having interviews with all kinds of people from both campaigns to talk about how they think the night when obviously it will be biased they're going to say that their candidate one but really when we talk to people it's not about who won or lost it's about made up their mind yet people who are going to make a decision based on this debate and at this point we know where the candidates stand on the issues even though they haven't really been talking about the issues very much we do you know where they stand... and at this point like so many other people in united states people are going to elect the person that they like the person that they think is most delectable has the temperament to be president and that something that our

has a little bit of ground to make up on she's still able to maintain her composure and it doesn't seem outwardly at least to affect her. and i think that matters in sort of perception in the court of public opinion among viewers. the court of public opinion that is what matters most to all of these undecided voters at least a lot of them that we've spoken to today because think about it george w. bush was elected because people wanted to have a beer with them people elected barack obama because he was charismatic and he rallied a whole group of people behind it as for these two there certainly not as likable both of them are incredibly unlikable at least if you look at the polls but tomorrow will see if any of that changes were live in university of nevada las vegas adam herbets fox five news local las vegas closed captioning

it's lunch time here at the baja bar and grill. but the orders aren't flying in. "the day just started, but i know it's not going to be my normal, typical taco tuesday." art jong is the owner here. and has been for almost eight years. he tells me he's never seen such a big event come to town and not have an uptick in business. "i think las vegas, especially unlv is lucky to have the debate, but at the same time though it does hurt us financially a little bit." art tells me normally he has

purposes on tuesdays because it gets so busy. but like inside his restaurant - it's dead. and he's not the only ones taking a loss. "you see a bunch of students, a bunch of business people at this time, looking for seating, we usually don't have seating around this time." the aloha kitchen tells me they have had to send four workers home since sunday because of how slow business has been. qot: have you guys ever had to do that before? "no, not since i've been at this location we haven't." staff tell me on a normal day they may be operating at 100-percent. but the last few days have been around 30. both staffs tell me it's because of classes being cancelled and tourists avoiding the campus in general. "usually we are the busiest here in this lot, and we've slowed down rapidly." short lines. empty seats. and plenty of parking lot are three things businesses at university square are not used to. "it's a bit frustrating, we're trying to figure out things to do

telling voters they won't throw away their vote if they vote for someone they believe in. to wrap up an already busy week in the valley-- president obama arrives sunday. it's still not clear where or at what time just yet. we know he will be campaigning for hillary clinton and catherine cortez masto-- along with urging nevadans to vote. early voting does begin in nevada on saturday. nevada's election officials, the fbi and secretary of state want to eliminate any fears of a fixed el for the past couple of days, donald trump has claimed that the election is rigged. president obama said he should stop whining and senator harry reid also weighed in. nevada rancher ammon bundy is on trial. today his attorney said bundy and others who occupied the malheur national wildlife refuge last winter made a peaceful stand -- but a determined one. bundy and six co- defendants are charged with conspiring to prevent federal employees from doing their jobs at the refuge through force, threat or intimidation. a federal prosecutor told the jury that the case comes down to common sense. he said the case isn't about land policy in the u.s. west or what ammon bundy considered to be an unjust sentence for two local ranchers convicted of arson. u-f-c announced it will lay off nearly 15 percent of its staff today. the mixed martial arts company is based out of las vegas. u-f-c says those layoffs take effect today. the company did not go into details on why the layoffs are happening. u-f-c was sold back in july for four billion dollars. the owners pledged to keep u-f-c here in las vegas. mccarran airport

now a new air traffic control tower is making travel a lot safer. the new controller is 352 feet high and comes equipped with terminal radar approach control... training simulators... administrative offices and new equipment. there's room for 40 controllers-- but if that's still not enough space... there's another building for nearly 50 other controllers. it's the second tallest controller in the country. the clark county school district is promoting "school bus safety awareness week" by reminding everyone to stay driving. this means staying off cell phones... stopping for buses... red lights and signs. also slowing down on yellow. the c-c-s-d police department took us on a ride-a-long to learn more about how they're improving bus routes. they'll be on high alert all week. any driver caught not following the rules could face a fine up to one- thousand dollars "whether or not we issue a citation, that not our main goal. it's not citing people. it's education. so if we do cite or not, we're just explaining all those

graduates are leaving school with more debt than ever before. the institute of college access and success says the average undergrad faced just more than 30-t dollars in loans last year. that's up four percent from 2014. and that means these students will pay about 300-dollars a month for more than 10 years. as for who's getting these loans, 68-percent of new, four-year graduates had loans last year. back in 19-93, it was less than half of all new grads. a new study looked to find the best work schedule based on your age. because that cycle can change as we get older... working at certain times of the day or night can jeopardize your health.
