breaking news tonight affecting thousands of people... the rolling stones have cancelled their show at the t- mobile arena tomorrow night! i'm christine maddela. i'm john huck. the band just announced this about an hour ago on social media. according to a release - frontman mick jagger has laryngitis and has been told not to so what does this mean for the tens of thousands of ticket holders? we're not sure. the band says to hold on to your tickets and they hope to re- schedule.. but have not provided any information on if refunds will be available .. or when. the stones are also scheduled to play saturday night at t-mobile.. and at this time they have not said whether this show will take place. mick jagger himself took to twitter and posted this: "i'm so sorry about the cancellation of wednesday's show in las vegas, i've got bad laryngitis.

trump landing at mccarran shortly after 5 tonight.. he was quickly whisked away in a motorcade .. we assume to his hotel to prepare for the debate. and just a couple hours earlier hillary clinton landed.. she too was met by a motorcade .. before heading to an undisclosed hotel to continue her debate prep. after a year of planning .. it all comes down to tomorrow night at the thomas and mack -- where clinton and trump go head to head in the final debate. the debate stage is all set up and ready to go. if you go out on the main campus... c-n-n and anderson cooper have set up camp near the education building. spin alley is also ready for reporters. place after a football game between rivals centennial and arbor view high schools. we got a lot of calls from folks in henderson who heard a loud boom and some of them felt their houses shake. "then i thought maybe something fell into my truck, because it was just, it was pretty loud. and then there was nothing, the one, big boom basically. our crews were out searching all day to figure out what caused and all signs point to richmond american builders-- who said they woud be blasting this week at the highland hills development. but officials there couldn't say for sure it was them. we reached out to nellis air force base.... henderson police...clark county and the national earthquake information center... with no confirmed answer. our debate coverage continues.. next ... what metro police are saying about anyone who wants to fly a drone around the debate site tomorrow.

controllers have already called mccarran's new tower home for weeks now. but the f-a-a and local officials held a dedication ceremony today. the f-a-a administto harry reid.... congresswoman dina titus to dedicate the new tower. work began in may of 2011.... but stopped during two different government shut downs. a massive contruction error also prompted a do- over of work on the 350 foot structure. for the economy of nevada." the new air traffic control tower has space for 40 controllers at the nation's eighth busiest airport. it also has a four story building for nearly 50 other controllers. as metro and the rest of the city prepare for the debate... there are restrictions in place for those flying drones. u-f-c announced it will lay off nearly 15 percent of its staff today. the mixed martial arts company is based out of las vegas. u-f-c says those layoffs take effect today. the company did not go into details on why the layoffs are happening. u-f-c was sold back in july for four billion dollars. the owners pledged to keep u-f-c here in las vegas. closing arguments are underway in oregon where nevada rancher ammon bundy is on trial. today his attorney said bundy and others who occupied the malheur national wildlife refuge last winter made a peaceful stand -- but a determined one. bundy and six co- defendants are charged with conspiring to prevent federal employees from doing their jobs at the refuge through force, threat or intimidation. a federal prosecutor told the jury that the case comes down to common sense. he said the case
