aunt and uncle, and then tried to cut off their heads. and now there are rumors the suspect was headed to las vegas. fox5's eric hilt spoke with law enforcement agencies across the country -- eric what did they tell you? police in oklahoma say michael vance killed two of his relatives and then shot two police officers before taking off in a patrol car. on top of that -- while running from police he went live on facebook, recording this video here and talking about the crimes... "i'm about to steal another car, like right now, this (bleep) is going to be intense" last night reports popped up that vance -- who is still running from police -- could be headed to las vegas. i checked in with las vegas metro police and with the fbi's office here in las vegas - both agencies told me they have no credible evidence that vance is headed to southern nevada and neither knew where those rumors got started. a dispactcher at the sheriff's department in the county where those murders

told me she hadn't heard anything backing up those reports either. metro did tell me that it's not uncommon for fugitives to head to las vegas... in fact, the department has a task force strictly dedicated to tracking down fugitives from other jurisdictions. metro says that task force has not been contacted by other law enforcement agencies about vance. police are looking for the suspect who killed a woman in her twenties-- who possibly took off in a gray four door car. it happened early this morning near jones and alta. police say the woman was well dressed and that it could be domestic related. police say she was shot in the head-- and witnesses say she was left on the sidewalk. charlie carlisi "she was laying on her right side and she had a gunshot wound right behind her left here. and there was a puddle of blood. its pretty ridiculous what people do to eachother. there are alwasy other courses you can take. get away from eachother. "

investigation. they have not released a motive in the shooting yet but say it could be domestic related. california national guard members won't have to pay back their re- enlistment bonuses... at least for now. u-s defense secretary ash carter is suspending all efforts to collect the bonuses awarded to these soldiers 10 years ago. the california national guard says these soliders should not have received these bonuses... some as much as 15 thousand dollars. the government says many of the soldiers did not know they weren't eligable for the money. the pentagon hopes to resolve all cases no later than next july. if someone claiming to represent the water district wants to come in your home and get a sample of water... say no! the las vegas valley water district is warning people to watch out for these impersonators. the district says its employees do not ask to enter homes like this, and they will always have their i-d badge with an employee number. if this has happened to you, please contact the las vegas valley water district.
