i'm christine maddela. i'm john huck. this happened in the west valley... police say the man had been shot, and they're not sure about the woman's cause of death... tonight friends and family of the victims held a vigil fox5's miguel martinez valle joins us there with their reactions. john christine i'm here at mountain crest park where hundreds of people gathered tonight in a candlelight vigil for sydney land and neo kauffman family and friends of the young couple tell us they were the people found dead at an apartment complex earlier today. neo had gun shot wounds, police haven't said exactly how sydney died. they lit up candles and shared stories of the both of them... loved ones tell us the pair were found inside their apartment by a family friend after no one heard from them for more than 24 hours. they say they're in shock since both were so loved by those who knew

was no evidence of forced entry into the apartment but they do suspect four play. two women have been charged with murder--- stemming from the death of a child-- over the summer. this it kendra and mylynda hatch... they are the child's mother and aunt... police say back in august they gave the child prescription pain meds for an unknown injury. that child died of an overdose. ammon and ryan bundy... and five of their followers were cleared of all charges today for their part in taking over a wildlife refuge earlier this year in oregon. they were facing conspiracy and weapons charges... fox5's cyndi lundeberg spoke to the bundy's before and after the verdict... she joins us now live with whats next for the family... the bundys and their supporters were anxiously waiting for todays verdict. a big part of the verdict had to do with how the taking over of the wildlife refuge

promenade is hosting a weekend of fun for the whole family. triq or treat started tonight and will run through saturday. the celebration includes live music, zombie stilt-walkers and a zombie led drumline. there will also be plenty of candy... and a costume contest. the popular event is a fun alternative to the traditional trick or treating. metro is also reminding everyone going out this weekend to stay alert. they had a trunk-or-treat to help give families a safe event just ahead of halloween. they also shared some safety tips. kids should always have an adult with them when going door- to-door. they also say it's best to wear bright colors or reflective gear so cars can see you. make sure kids stay on the sidewalk and only cross at street corners. last... if you see any suspicious activity-- do not hesitate to contact metro. a local birthday boy just received one of the most heartwarming birthday presents any kid could ask for. "open you gift!" of forced entry into the apartment but they do suspect four play. a motorcyclist is killed after police say he failed to stop at a stop sign in north las vegas. it happened after noon near centennial parkway and fifth street. police say the motorcyclist ran a stop sign and collided with a car. the man was takend to u-m-c where he died. the driver of the car stayed on scene... and cooperated with police. one person is dead and another injured when a suspected drunk driver plowed into t night near downtown. police say 45 year old andrea corbani was arrested for driving under the influence. police say she crashed drove up onto the sidewalk near charleston and las vegas boulevard. and hit a man and a woman sitting on a wall. the woman was killed... the man was seriously injured. corbani left the scene... and crashed into a pole before she was arrested. the clark county school district-- refusing to enforce a restraining order between
