dan: if a bad guy breaks into my house, i have every right to defend my home. and i will. i have no problem with background checks and good decent americans have a right to bear arms. bad guys? criminals? the dangerously mentally ill? we've made it way too easy for them to buy guns. we have a loophole where dangerous people can walk into a gun show and buy a gun, after that, they could walk into my house, or yours. and i'd rather they didn't have a gun.

and 6 start.....but the spartans have also put together competitive games and knocked off unr a couple of weeks ago. when the win it's because they're running the football. in they're two victories, san jose ran the football at least 50 times...using a platoon of three backs. they also have a dual threat quarterback in kenny potter who's not afraid to tuck and runand has scrambling ability to keep plays alive. head coach ron caragher likes what his signal caller brings to the table. ron caragher/san jose state head coach: kenny is a very good accurate passe he makes good decisions with the ball with a low interception ratio. he can also run it but i think it's the intangibles that stand out with him. while san jose can run...they also give up a lot on run defense....more than 230 yards a game...meaning unlv will have to get production out of the backfield while controling the field and the clock. the rebels didn't do that last saturday in the first half...digging a 35-0 hole. tony sanchez:

back from that and win on the road. not everyone is going to be pretty and we've got to learn how to batle through these things. unlv needs 6 wins to be bowl eligible. they have three with four to go...including a game at boise state. that turns this into essentially a mustin win situation to keep bowl hopes alive. tony sanchez: if you're going to get into a bowl game these are games you have to win. we have four more opportunities and we need three of them. kevin on cam opportunity comes knocking at 7:30 saturday night. point favorite. with the rebels in san jose, kevin bolinger, fox 5 news, local las vegas. don't forget to join kevin and head coach tony sanchez in the rebzone with all coach tony sanchez in the rebzone with all of the analysis of saturday's game. it airs sunday night at 11 right after sports plus. next at 11... celebrating nevada day! and celebrating our love of nevada-made chocolate.. what ethel m just did to make visiting it's factory more

jim dunlap: too many nevada police officers have been killed in the last few years. the truth is, we make it too easy for criminals and the dangerously mentally ill to buy guns. they get them at gun shows or online from strangers, no questions asked. so here's something we can do to honor the fallen: close the background check loophole. that will help prevent future cop killings. it works. in states that have closed the loophole, have been shot and killed in the line of duty. background checks save lives. v.o.: yes on question one. we've got a choice to make. jacky rosen wants to build an economy that works for all of us, creating good jobs, expanding solar energy, and improving our schools. but with danny tarkanian, you can't escape the sleaze. tarkanian lost $17 million in a failed development scheme and stuck taxpayers with the bill.
