visit our website at fox5vegas dot com. we'll have a link to the family's go fund me account. we're learning more about a domestic homicide-- after a woman was found dead in her home earlier this month. north las vegas police say 63- year-old randal mccray is in custody. he's accused of killing 47-year-old kayota washington. according his arrest report... mccray told police his girlfriend came home with a gun... and became physically agressive toward him. he told police he took the gun away... and ended up shooting her in the head. but detectives say a lot of mccray's story... didn't seem to add up. the arrest report says autopsy results... and other evidence did not support his story. he faces charges of murder with a deadly weapon. a cloudy... and mostly dry day around the valley... but are showers headed our way soon? les is here with his first look at

clouds with showers are forecast overnight into monday afternoon. skies will gradually clear by late evening. daytime temperatures will cool a few degrees monday with the passage of a cold front. by tuesday drier weather returns. we'll see a slight temperature increase on wednesday before another front slides into the valley producing winds and slightly cooler temperatures for thanksgiving and black friday.

we now know the name of the man who died last night-- after he was hit by an suv--- while walking near the rio hotel and casino. police say 31 year old vanharris haiola from san diego... was struck last night... near valley view boulevard and viking road. police think he was walking outside of a crosswalk. the driver cooperated with police and stayed on the scene. in the u.s.-- almost 100 people die every day in car crashes. today families gathered--- to remember loved ones who were killed. it's the first time las vegas has participated in world day of remembrance for road traffic victims. who was gunned down while on duty this morning. they say detective benjamin marconi was killed... while he was writing a traffic ticket just outside police headquarters. marconi was sitting in his cruiser... when another car pulled up behind him. a man then walked up to the officer and fired two bullets in his head. the shooter got away. marconi was pronounced dead at the hospital. chief william mcmanus: "it's always difficult especially in this day and age where police are being targeted across the countyand hopefully we'll solve this one real quick and if this individual is a danger to more police or anyone else we will try to get him off the street as soon as we can." detective marconi was a 20-year veteran of the san antonio police department. a pregnant woman is shot to death in california.... ... and her baby is still alive. it happened friday night in a drive by shooting. police say the woman was shot twice in the head.
