recognizes her. this girl was found by highway 93, north of dolan springs on september 28th. a couple came across her body while hiking in a ravine. today, detectives announced they are investigating this case as a possible homicide. but they are still unsure how she died. the national center for missing and exploited children released these images... but warn because the body was decomposed, they may only be a partial resemblance. the coroner described the girl as african american, between 13 and 17 years old, about five feet, five inches tall. if you have information that can help police identify the girl, call crimestoppers at 702-385-55-55. an overnight fire left a person homeless... and killed the family dog. it happened near flamingo and sandhill. officials say the fire caused heavy structural and smoke damage. crews are still working to determine the cause. thankfully, no people were injured. today ... hockey fans across the valley have been trying to get their

it has been a few weeks since the latest portion of tivoli village opened up to shoppers near summerli.. it's also been three months since a construction worker was killed on the site. now that construction company is still being investigated by osha. fox5's adam herbets is here with an update on how that case is going. after this scaffold fell apart... we have met a lot of people who had a lot to say about this construction company... and we have met a lot of people who had a lot to say about this osha system in general. and really -- what we've found out is -- they don't believe either of them are doing nearly enough to protect workers.

bautista... he was a husband and father of three boys. the company is performance builders incorporated. we always knew they had a long history with osha investigations before this case... but now we're finding out... they were also investigated for cases that took place after tivoli village. one of their cases... was just three days after the tivoli village accident... and even though the files are supposed to be public... osha charges us to see the pape almost as much as they charge the companies when they get fined. throughout these past few months... we've talked to people who said they knew something bad was going to happen on this site, just by looking at the scaffolding... and we've met a man who says this company has a reputation for being crooked. i think the only justice out there is that the owner of this company should go to jail. fines don't mean anything. i think they should lock him up i hope the construction

nevada drivers made the top 10.. coming in at number 7. it's going to be a crowded few days for travelers around the nation. trains, planes and automobiles will be packed ... triple-a is predicting the busiest holiday for travel in nine years. adam shapiro has more from newark-liberty international airport. don't be surprised if you're stuck in traffic this holiday weekend. triple-a expects 48-point-7 million americans to travel for thanksgiving. that's a million more travelers than last year, and the busiest turkey day johnson says: "..we're really attributing this to the improvements in the economy that we've seen at the tail end of the year and also low gas prices. drivers have saved more than 28 billion dollars on gas so far this year." driving is expected to be the most popular mode of transportation with 89-percent of thanksgiving travels hitting the roads. air travel is up too... triple-a says just this weekend some 3-pont-7 million of us are going to to fly.

president-elect donald trump has picked betsy devos (duh-voss) to head the department of education. the trump transition team announced the pick this afternoon. devos is a top republican donor and school choice activist. trump met with her this weekend at his golf club in new jersey. devos chairs the american federation for children -- a group that promotes charter school education -- she also served on the board of the foundation for excellence in education.
