some last minute items.. "sweet potato. i have turkey and everything so i need that and lemons for the drinks and other stuff. 13 butt to i am getting cranberries. flash to and tupperware to hold it so we can take it to a friend's house " the vons at peco and windmill was bustling tonight with people picking up the items they may have forgotten... if you missed something on your list-- there are a few stores that will be open during the morning. some people are opting out of cooking this year... so they waited in line today to pick up their feast from marie callenders. the store calls the day before thanksgiving-- their super bowl because they have such a rush... and it's easy to see why.... it has thirty different varieties of pies. marie callender's will be open tomorrow from seven a-m to 11 a-m. a lot of thanksgiving day is spent in the kitchen... and there are more house fires than on any other day. another issue-- carbon monoxide.
10:06 pm
of the biggest producers of carbon monoxide in your home and with our highly insulated homes here in las vegas, to keep that cold air in , it will also keep gases so you can prevent carbon monoxide build-up by just opening the windows and doors to your kitchen maybe once every hour for about 5 minutes. " some other things to keep in mind-- stay in the kitchen while cooking so you can monitor progress... keep the floor clear and watch cords so they are dangling in anyone's way. and don't forget-- when you are cooking up your bird-- help is just a phone call... or post away. butterball's turkey talk line is open and ready to answer any turkey related questions. this year-- the company is also going digital.. so you can also ask your questions-- through social media. around the valley--- some are already getting into the christmas spirit... and unfortunately some grinches are wasting no time striking either. one woman came home to find new decorations... gone. but the people responsible-- were

been saving that picture for a year. it's an interesting deal so it shows you where the rivalry is at. this game is going to be won on the ground. the rebels focus is to run the football and unr has the worst rushing defense in the country and statistically one of the worst in the nation. on the flip side - the wolfpack have a strong back in james butler who will get the ball a lot. but this is a game where stats and records get thrown out - rivalries bring out the best in every team...this is going to be a dogfight kevin on cam: it is also senior day as 16 unlv seniors will be honored before the game. kick-off is set for 1 o'clock and there are plenty of seats available. unlv is an 8 and a half point favorite. at sam boyd stadium, kevin bolinger, fox 5 news, local las vegas. make sure to tune into the rebzone this sunday night at 11. kevin and coach sanchez will break down the cannon game and discuss the future of unlv

hockey fans couldn't wait to stock up on some vegas golden knights gear... just one day after the big name reveal--- people were packing into the team store at t-mobile. the shop opened at noon... and workers say there was a line-- about 50 people deep. and there was a steady flow of shoppers all day long. and they were a mix of vegas local... and just some hockey fans who happened to be in the right place at the right time. ""i'm anxious to have a t shirt that says las vegas hockey" "everybody wants to be in on the ground floor" " one thing fans will have to wait on... team jerseys. according to the golden knight's twitter page-- they will be available early next summer... just in time for the draft. a construction worker falls to his death on the job -- and now three months later -- people are trying to figure out how his life could have been saved. (nats papers) he says -- all of these osha fines should have been enough to make them learn their lesson... but really, the sad part, is it actually saves them money. frank/ what we're being told by osha for the death of this worker is $1,800 even though open. (nats) anonymous/ i bet you he's rolling in his grave right now. i would be. yeah. it's a spit in the face dude this worker says that's not even enough to feed his dog... but for performance builders -- 1800 dollars would be pretty routine. it's not even the most this company has been fined.... but the union says it sure is a heck of a lot cheaper than the cost of a safe work site. well let's add 1500 dollars in case we get fined by osha. i think the only justice out there

should go to jail. fines don't mean anything. i think they should lock him up. but that's not even close to the way the system is right now. right now -- osha writes them up -- maybe some lawyers get involved -- but other than that osha sits back -- and if all goes well they get to cash the check. (nats) pennies on the dollar... and it's a cycle... that has repeated 13 times... in three years. for somebody to be caught that many times -- that was beyond making the eb up. that was amazing. i'm in shock. i'm in shock that they're still in business. osha has not agreed to an interview... but they say if there's a way to prove any of this is intentional, the fines could go up. the reason performance builders hasn't agreed to an interview -- they say -- is because the case is under investigation. osha documents cost $$$ -- almost as much as the
