some people mourning, others celebrating. we are taking a live look at the streets of miami right now. in havana, cuba....some are entering a nine- day mourning period. but in little havana in miami.... reaction on the former cuban leader's death is much different. " " 21-27 ( pots banging) (cheering) 0:01-0:07 ( pots banging) (cheering) those are the celebrations that went on in miami's little havana overnight... the community is known for its number of cuban exiles who fled the communist country and castro's rule. castro's death was met there with widespread celebration... people waving flags and banging on pots and pans. we spoke to a cuban mother and son here in vegas last night... on how they're reacting to the news. jackie: it's sad that anyone should die...it's just....my father defected

reporting russian president vladamir putin called castro a "symbol of an era" and a "true and loyal friend to russia." in national news this morning... president-elect donald trump announced two more additions to his staff. he has named former republican administration official k-t mcfarland... as his deputy national security advisor... and don mcgahn as his white house counsel.

the woman known for playing america's favorite t-v mom has passed away. florence henderson... who won all our hearts as carol brady in "the brady bunch"... died of heart failure this week... as kerin mccue reports... henderson came from a simple background... but reached for the stars. actress florence henderson died rather suddenly of heart failure thursday... surrounded by loved ones at an l-a hospital. vargas says: "you're losing that tv mom. you know, it's sad." her publicist says henderson had been expected to 'bounce back." as recently as monday she'd attended a t-v show taping...and appeared in good health.
