an investment banker for goldman sachs, and a hollywood investor. most recently he's made it his mission to take down the republican party establishment. alabama senator jeff sessions is nominated for u-s attorney general, the former prosecutor has opposed immigration reform as well as bipartisan proposals to cut mandatory minimum prison sentences. sessions has been accused of calling civil rights groups "un-american" and criticizing the voting rights act. and finally the chairman of the republican national committee, reince priebus, who will be the president- elect's chief of staff. while he's a mainstream pick that many republicans find encouraging, some tea party leaders fear preibus is too much of a washington insider. a manhunt is underway in new orleans... following a shoot-out yesterday... that left one man dead and nine injured. the shooting took place yesterday morning... in the french quarter. one man, 25 year old demontris toliver, was killed.

victims injured are in the hospital but stable... while the other five have been released. police say the shoot-out occured between two men arguing... and police are searching through surveillance footage of these men. landrieu: "they were not from new orleans, but we will find them and we will go to the ends of the earth to make sure that we bring them to justice." police did arrest two men carrying illegal firearms after the shooting... however one of those individuals is a victim in the shooting... and the other is unrelated to the case. new orleans police made 11 arrests for illegal firearms this past weekend alone. several people were wounded in a shoot-out in kansas city yesterday. officers were called to the scene after reports of gun- fire. once at the scene... officers saw people in nearby vehicles shooting at each other... and at least one officer opened fire. seven people were injured... and authorities are looking for possible suspects. protests continue in massachusetts... over hampshire college's refusal to fly the american flag. springfield mayor domenic sarno joined veterans in protest yesterday over the decision.

spent their thanksgiving at a supermarket. but they weren't buying groceries... they were getting married. charles larry tinson and mary tinson... were wed at a local grocery store on thanksigiving day... the site of where they ran into each other four years ago.
