horrific crash friday night. the vehicle was hit by a truck and flipped over. the 8-month-old girl was thrown from the car, but her family couldn't find her. search and rescue crews later found the child inside a storm drain, more than 24 feet away from the roadway. "and as we made our way down, the good samaritan who was already out here searching said he heard something coming from this general area, and about that time, we were able to move and uncover some of this hay. "there had to be some kind of divine intervention for her to end up being okay the way she was." firefighters say when they found the child, she was sitting up and looking up at them, waiting to be pulled out of the storm drain. amazingly, the baby girl only suffered a scratch to her forehead. we'll be right back.

detectives with their investigation... ...call crime stoppers right away at 702-385-55- 55. you can remain anonymous on that tipline and could be eligible for a cash reward. one of the men accused of stealing nachos and shooting at a convenience store employee will learn his fate today. police say anthony gioiosa and a friend walked into the a-m/p-m back in march and walked out with a tray of nachos. employee told them they needed to pay, they said we don't pay, we're gangsters. that's when gioiosa pulled out a gun and fired at the employee. it was all caught on surveillance video. the employee was not hurt. gioioisa is facing burglary, assault and other weapons charges. his sentencing is set for 8 a-m. democratic congressman- elect ruben kihuen will be in the nation's capitol this week, preparing for his new political career. kihuen is heading to orientation
