coming up in about ten minutes we sit down with legal analyst bob massi to talk about a university's liability in situations like this. construction continues at the airport connector... on the 2-15. and that means more traffic headaches for drivers. the eastbound lanes will be closed overnight-- between the airport connector and warm springs road. travelers heading to the airport... will still be able to use the road. the closures start at 9 p-m tonight... and last until 5 a-m tuesday. the county says crews still need to finish installing parts for the new fly-over. it's the same work that closed the freeway last weekend. two nevada inmates were hospitalized after a massive brawl in a prison camp outside elko. officals say as many as seventy inmates were involved. the state department of corrections say police from surrounding areas helped stop the fight. it happened last night at the carlin conservation camp. no officers or guards were inured. elko county sheriff says the inmates were armed with weapons made of broom handles and towel racks. a family lost their home--

by a wood burning stove last night. henderson fire crews say it happened near the 95 and college drive. they say two people were home when the fire started. they were able to get out safely. crews say the damage will cost around 245- thousand dollars. that includes cost of the structure... and the family's belongings. fire crews have deemed the cause of the fire an accident. ruckriegel says: "if you've never had a fireplace before i would really suggest you get a chimney sweep... somebody to come out and talk to you about how you use it and how you maintain it, how you use it, how you operate it even." fire officals around the country are reminding folks to stay safe this winter. a fireplace can quickly become a hazard it you don't take proper precautions. the type of wood can make a difference... and making sure your chimney is properly cleaned. chimneys and fireplaces are blamed for more than 20-thousand fires nationwide every year. the election drama is still not over.

he doesn't believe hillary clinton won the popular vote. he's also blasting the former democratic nominee for participating in a recount effort that he labels without evidence or nuance a scam. yasmin amer has more. like many of donald trump's controversiesthi s one started on twitter. the president elect tweeted sunday - quote "in addition to winning the electoral college in a landslide, i won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally." trump is the president- electdespite losing the popular vote by almost two-million votes. there has been no evidence of any kind of massive voter fraud over the weekend-in a move unprecedented by a president elect- trump unleashed a series of angry tweets about a vote recount effort...spearheade d by the green party's jill stein. the clinton campaign announcing saturday they would participate while making clear they are not

trump's senior advisor kellyanne conway slammed the efforts. (kellyanne conway, senior trump advisor) "the idea that we're going to drag this out now where the president-elect has been incredibly magnanimous to the clintons' and the obamas' is pretty incredible." stein has raised more than five million dollars for fees and court costs associated with a recount in wisconsin. the move coming after data security experts raised concerns over discrepancies between areas that used paper ballots versus electronic. it's an effort incoming chief of staff reince priebus called a total waste of time during an interview on fox news. (reince priebus, incoming chief of staff) "it's ridi fundraising notoriety-driven fraud by a person who won 33,000 votes in wisconsin...to president-elect trump who won 1.4 million." i'm yasmin amer reporting. the recount in wisconsin is set to begin next week. the green party is also seeking recounts in michigan and pennsylvania. a theme park in japan tried to impress it's visitors with a new ice display. but instead got a lot of backlash. the response they got after freezing thousands of fish

park, 'space world', has apologized for freezing 5,000 fish in a skating rink. the park was forced to close the attraction on sunday after public backlash. the special winter attraction was called "freezing port" -- and included fish, crabs and other shellfish, embedded into the ice. space world manager toshimi takeda says the reaction has been "brutal." takeda says that the park will remove the fish from the skate rink, hold a religious service for them, and then reuse them as fertilizer. here's another winter story from japan -- domino's pizza chains will now offer deliveres there... by reindeer! the service is meant to help make sure customers get their pizza... even if there's a road blocked by snow. each reindeer has a g-p-s tracker so workers will be able to track their progress... and the pizza

a group of u-n-l-v students want you to challenge yourself... and give
