course if you have any information about who the shooter is please call metro reporting in las vegas at herbert's throwback to you a valley father is in custody after admitting to killing his own son. metro officers were investigating an incident at rainbow near windmill around eight last night when they heard gunshots. police say a man approached the officers, and told them he shot his son. a man in his early 20s was found dead with gunshots wounds to the chest. police say this may be classified under domestic violence which happens more fequently around the holidays. they say most of these incidents are preventable. "the only thing i would like to just put out there please call somebody, a friend, family, pastor. you know if your distraught and having emotional problems within your family. go out, take a drive take a walk. whatever occured tonight somebody didnt have to lose their life." this is the 155th homicide

the days of free parking at some of the most popular casinos are dwindling fast! today... wynn las vegas announced it will start charging for valet parking starting in mid- december. and just a few months after mgm announced a "pay to park" program -caesars is launching one of its own. paid valet and paid self parking at 8 of 9 of their properties. station casinos says it will continue to offer free parking to its guests.

theodros joins us live on the strip after talking with caeasars entertainment executives about what brought the change. caesars is saying this is all apart of their plan to improve services for customers and rennovate its current parking structures -but some people are scared about what it means for them. valet anonymous: it's all corporations. and that sucks. corporporations arent everything. valet workers arent everything. valet workers nervous about big changes to parking at caesars properties valet anonymous: our biggest concern is going to be our tips because our paycheck - really we dont make that much money we'll call this man david.. not his real name .. he's been a valet at a caesars property for 15 he's been a valet at a caesars property for 15 years and makes 10.33 an hour plus tips. and he says his tips go a long way. valet anonymous: depends on the weekend. you can make a hundred and fifty on a normal day maybe 80 to 100. but david thinks that'll change with the entertainment company's new pay to park program. here are the basics: - valet fees will

today and it's one of the largest blood drives in nevada. we spoke to one of the organizers who is proud of the donation numbers so far. her son receives blood tranfusions every three to four weeks-- and depends on the donations of others to survive. "seeing everyone come together, it means the world to me, you know. it makes me so proud of my community that i live in , and so proud that people are giving a part of themselves.. to give to someone else.. life. it's huge. " donors will get free tickets to local shows and have a chance to enter a grand prize drawing. the drive will last until seven tonight and is located at the east main entrance-- watch out for more project neon road closures! some big ones are coming up near the spaghetti bowl. fox5's ken smith explains.
