killed in separate homicides last night. the most recent was a gunman shooting and killing a man during an argument with a woman. it happened around ten last night -- at an apartment complex near durango and peace way. police say a couple were arguing in the parking lot -- with their child inside the car -- when another man drove up and intervened. the two men started aruging before shots were fired... and he took off from the scene. the victim died at the hospital. police believe the shooter did not know the man or woman. they also belive the original argument was over custody of the child. and... another person was killed in a shooting near rainbow and windmill. police say 49- year-old michael gardenhire told officers he had shot his son to death. he died at the apartment. police have not released a motive yet. gardenhire is booked on murder with a deadly weapon charges. a man -- considered armed and dangerous -- is wanted for a shooting another man. this is 33-year-old max cook. police say he shot a man several times during a fight with him and

it happened at a mobile home park earlier this month -- near nellis and owens. the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. a warrant has been issued for cook on several charges... including attempted murder. if you know anything about the shooting or where cook might be... call police or crimestoppers. the number is 7-0- 2-385-5555. metro police are about to unveil a new program... that will enlist the help of the community to solve crimes. its called vegas safe cam... and it'll use your home or business surveillance to fox5's cyndi lundeberg has more on how this program will work... just last night there were two different shootings... and police are asking for your help in solving both. their new program will continue to ask for your help... you'll sign up for vegas safe cam... and if theres a crime in your area police say they want to work with you and use your video to help catch dangerous suspects.

the las vegas strip... are quickly coming to an abrupt halt. "things have changed (laughing)" today wynn resorts announced-- drivers will be charged 13 to 18 dollars for valet parking. for now-- self parking will still be free. it comes after an from caesars entertainment. its properties will charge 8 to 18 dollars for valet parking.. depending on the location. vistors will also have to pay to self park--- those prices haven't been announced yet. but good news for locals-- we can still self park for free-- for now. vistors we talked to-- aren't happy with the idea. "it would affect how many times we came down here that's for sure" people who work on the strip-- are also worried it will start costing them more : "if i didn't have that players card they're gonna charge me so now i have to use a friend's players card just to park for free" m-g-m resorts started the trend back in june... it seems like free parking spots may be few and far between. and while people don't like the idea

they're being sent out on the homeowner's assocation and the law firm "leach... johnson... song... and gruchow". they say they have nothing to do with the letters. homeowners say they're disgusted by the notes... which have been going on for more than a year. the presidential election hasn't gone away yet. five counties in nevada will have their votes recounted. they are clark... carson city... douglas... mineral... and nye. independent presidential candidate -- roque de la fuente -- paid around 14- thousand dollars for the recount. he finished last in the state... but says he wants to counterbalance a recount that green party candidate jill stein requested in wisconsin -- which donald trump won. hillary clinton won nevada. election officials say state law requires the five counties to start the recount within five days... and complete it within five additional days. more than a million android phones have been infected by hackers... because of illegitimate apps. hackers have access to google accounts... emails... photos... and documents. that's according to computer researchers at "check point" -- a cybersecurity firm. google says the hackers stole digital "tokens"... letting them get into google services... but -- the hackers have not tapped into the
