earlier this week -- hospitals in cedar rapids and dubuque held job fairs. and today -- allen hospital in waterloo is holding a job fair for nurses, nursing assistants, technicians, and therapists. that fair will run from three until seven this evening. an iowa judge dismisses a lawsuit over a proposed oil pipeline. the lawsuit challenged the authority of the iowa utilities board to give the power of eminent domain to an out of state developer of a pipeline through iowa. the judge did not say whether the company is eligible for eminent domain. the pipeline would carry crude oil through iowa. uni campus police investigate a sexual assault in a dorm. an alert from the school says it happened early monday morning. the school isn't releasing much more than that right now, so we don't know if the suspect is a student. on wednesday, a few groups on campus came together to raise awareness of sexual assault and violence. this is an event they had planned for a long time. just minutes from where i live off campus, and it's sad to hear that it happens in general"
