announced his resignation last month. former house speaker dennis hastert pleads guilty to charges that could get him six months in prison. hastert pleaded guilty to the "hush money" accusations against him; he admitted to making small enough transactions totaling three and a half million dollars, to avoid reporting where the money was going. hastert will be sentenced in february. in continuing coverage... the state medical examiner releases the autopsy results for a benton county homicide victim... the reports shows that 25- year-old sabrina hustad died from multiple stab wounds with strangulation... she was found dead in a driveway belonging to david miller sunday; miller was arrested and charged with theft that same day, though authorities haven't said if miller was related to hustad's death a dubuque man is in the hospital

gunshot wound to his leg. police were called to the 400 block of angella street around nine-30 this morning. they found 20- year-old phillip wilson, who said he'd been shot about 30 minutes before police got there. kwwl's brad hanson on the scene shortly after it all unknowns about exactly what happened there in dubuque. there sure are--police were on the scene all morning here, investigating yet another report of shots fired in dubuque. me might be self inflicted. but a release sent out late this afternoon says that wilson cooperative with police in telling them more. police spending time talking to people in most of the apartments here today trying to get any idea of what happened. the property manager telling me she's obviously not happy it happened here. "i think it's just very important for us to preserve our history." citizens for the grout museum committe co- chair cindy wells says property owners won't have to pay much -- if the levy passes next tuesday. "each $100,000 of your house that's valued, it's $15.05. even if you have a $200,00 house, $2.50 isn't much to support the grout." mueseum visitor dana atwood-blaine says it's a small price to pay to protect the cedar valley's rich history.
