this csed a collision between his s-u-v and a school bus. klink's first court appearance is set for novembb 4. multiple gunshots damage a home. the incident happened wednesday night at 420 locust street in waterloo. neighbors rrported hearing four to six shots fired aroud ten p-m. waterloo police say the gun that was used was a shotgun. no injuries were reported. 150 federal inmates in iowa will be released from halfway houses and prisons tomorrow. this is part of the new policy change by the u-s sentencing commission. around six thousannfederal inmates will walk free due to their drug sentences being reduced. a third of the inmates will be transferred to u-s immigration and customs enforcement and deported back to their home countries. police are investigating annother attack at an area recreational trail...

it happened at the running trail at cedar bend ark in waterloo around 4:15 wednesday police say a woman was running there when a man pulled her sweatshirt over her eyes and dragged her into the woods kwwls olivia mancino following up on this developing story, she joins us with the latest police say the attacker tried to sexually assault this woman but she fought him off. she was able to run away and call police at her home it happened around this trail in waterloo-- the woman took officers to the scene yesterday, and police found some of her things she dropped duriig the attack. you may remember a similar attack on a trail at george wyth state park in july police say a man attacked a woman from behind, dragged heeinto the woods and attacked her campers later found her partially clothed police are saying this attack and the one from yesterday are similar in nature, and now they're looking into possible connections. currentmayor jon crews. kwwl's nikki newbrough spoke to crews about why he wants to keep his seat. jon crews moved to cedar falls at the age of 5. it was only a few years "i knew the mayor, not that i was thinking about running for mayor but he retired in april said sure why not." "crews served as mayor on and off for part of four decades." all together, 30 years as mayor. but he says he's not done yet. "i enjoy the process. i enjoy working with peopleeand i enjoy results. a guy said last night said i am grateful every day i wake up in cedar falls. that really makes you feel good." crews says he wants to adopt a 2020 lan and haveea common goal for the future. easternrniowa health care facilities currently owned by wheaton franciscan healthcare. three wheaton franciscan healthcare facilities -- covenant medical center in waterloo, sartori hospital in cedar falls and mercy hospital of franciscan sisters of oelwein -- will be joining the mercy health network. the facilities are currently under the wheaton franciscan sisters... the sisters say the decision to switch hands to a larger network comes as some of the sisters are getting older and their numbers are dwindling. the deal isn't done yet, but the final negotiations are expected to take place in the first quarte of 20-16. coralville's new ransit intermodal facility opened in august and is a hub for earth-friendly transportation... including the new megabus station. the station moved from iowa city to coralvilllwhen the facility opened over the summer. though the facility is accomodating for some...the

jeb bush was a very stronongovernor, probobly the strongest governor in the historyy of the state of florida. he was a young guy and i think there were some folks in the legislature that thought they might be able to run over him. that didn't happen. e tax cut wasn't enough- he had to do more. it wasn't enough to have 15,000 kids with school choice in florida, he wanted to have 100,000 kids. if he didn't like a project, it was going to be vetoed. it didn't matter i iyou were a republican. it didn't matter if you were his best friend. he said: 'this is where we're going, this is how we're going to reform state government...' every politician comes in talking about making change, and generally there's not much change. bubugovernor bush made a lot of changes. he got the nickname veto corleone. if he saw something in the budget that he thought violated his conservative principles, you could guarantee it was gonna get whacked. he vetoed a bubuh of my stuff and d was the senate presisint. the message to washington, d.c., is 'get ready...' because there will be change.
