here's the storm system that will be tracking into our area late tonight, into halloween. no severe weather asssciated by the afterroon hours. with the light wind and clearing happening right now- dozens of people are searching for a missing waterloo teen. moosed, a refugegefrom burma, went missing on thursday. his family is worried because he has special needs and needs his medicine. this morning moe sed's family, teachers, classmates, police, , and community members came together to lolok for him. they were talking to people, businesses, and handing out missing persons flyers. his family says they are grateful for the support.

"i put the faith in god's hands and if god touch his heart he'll moe sed's whereabouts please contact police. 150 federal inmates here in iowa are released from halfway houses and prisons today... this is part of the new policy change by the u-s sentencing commission. around six thousand federal inmates will walk free due to their drug sentences being reduced. a third of the inmates will be transferred to u-s immigration and customs enenorcement - andd deporored back to their home countries. the waterloo police department is mourning the loss of an officer. adam liddle died yesterday of -- what's being called an "unknown medical trauma." he was 35.. he'd been with the department for three years. he had also worked for the black hawk county sheriff's office. liddle is survived by his wife and 10- year-old son. an iowa school bus driver is

(nats) police say the video shows johnston school bus driver robert scarbrough assaulting a (nats) e video endnd with scarbrough apparently taunting the special needs s hild. "he just grabs jackie and threw her on the ground." moments later... children on the bus soon saw a polk county officer and reported the incident... the driver robert scarbrough is charged with assault in johnston. police are investigatink another attack on a trail. it happened at the running ttail at cedada bend park ininwaterloo around 4:15 wednesday evening. police say the attacker pulled the woman's hood down over her face...dragged her into the woods and tried to sexually assault the woman but she fought him off. she was able to run away ann call police at her home attack on a trail at george wyth state park in july. police say a man attacked a woman from behind, drbgged her into the woods and attacked her. campers later found her partially clothed. police are saying this attack and the one this week are

similar in nature, and now they're looking into possible connections. "its one of those situations a thats one similarity to last one -- it rained in the morning, so there weren't many people on the trails" police haven't arrested anyone in either attacc... you may be breaking a law without even knowing it. and you can get a ticket for doing it. this camera was up for about ten minutes around the 16-hundrere block of first avenue e sterday, a main street through cedar rapids... watch as multiple people walk out in front of oncoming traffic, ignoring the crosswalks. cedar rapids police issued nearly two dozen tickets for jaywalkingngin the last s sveral momohs. the ticket is about a hundred bucks. lawmakers worked late into the night to approve a budget deal in the nation's capitol... early today, the senate approved the agreement that raises the debt ceiling. that ets the budget for the federal government for the next two years -- and it also keeps the u-s from defaulting next week.

the deal is now on its way to the president's desk -- and he's expected to sign it. democratic ppsidential hooeful and current iowa frontrunner hillary clinton will make her return to eastern iowa next week... clinton will hold a town hall in coralville on tuesday... she says she wiil discuss hhr record of fightinn for children and families at the event... the event will take place at s-t morrison park at 3 p-m... she'll also hold a town hall in grinnell on tuesday... some eastern iowans are celelerating halloween a bit early. members of the mommy and me class at st. luke's hospital the halloween weekend... there were dinosaurs. these babies are eight months to a a ear old... the man accused of shooting a tennessee police officer is dead. he waa killed in a ssootout with authorities... kentucky police say floyd cook was shot early this morning. cook was accused of shooting an officer during a traffic stop on saturday... a kentucky state trooper then spotted h hs car and tried to stop him. that's when he started firing at the trooper -- who wasn't hit. cook escaped -- which started a manhunt that lasted until this morning... the search for a deputy on the run is also over r oday... the california deputy was arrested after escaping from a jail parking garage earlier this week. surveillance video shows him reach is hand throu a cracked window of the patrol car, open thth door, and start to walk through the garage. he was arrested on tuesday for illegal possession of guns and drugs after allegedly pointing a gun at a group of kids.

we're now hearing from a 10-year-old boy who survivedda shark attack. the boy was bitten near hawaii wednesday. it appears he'll make a full nowhere and then i just started help. they took m in the sand and i got stitches from the doctors." a witness says the boy was calm the entire time. he would be the seventh shark bite victimmn hawaii this year. there are more than 26 gangs in eastern iowa.... they vary in size and structure from city to city. some are commonly known gangs -- connected to larger hubs like chicago and minneapolis.... but others are ybrids -- homegrown gangs -- that started on our streets. kwwl's olivia mancino takes a deeper look at gang violence in eastern iowa...

"you always looking over your shoulder...always" dozens of these gangs have made their way on d off the police radar for years.. john is a former blood. he requested not to be identified. "police say their current major concern is how yyng they're finding gang members -- older siblings who are already involved in the life, and police at any age can go and buy a gun for 50 or 60 bucks" the waterloo v-cat unit has seized hundreds of guns since their task force formed... you can see some of them here. these guns used to be in the posession of dozens of former crimiils, police estimate about 90% of them are from local gang members. drivers this week as a giant, inflatable pumpkin bounced through a busy intersectioio. you can see the giant jack-o'- lantern roll across multiple lanes of traffic before it gets stuck beneath a streetlight pole. city officials said the pumpkin broke free from a halloween display promoting a local halloween party. luckily, nobody was injured in the great pumpkin escape, but it did cause some damage to street lights... here's the storm track 7 day forecast. we will see
