and i'm amanda goodman. thanks for joining us a woman is not pressing charges after a adomestic disppte creates a spectacle at an eastern iowa strip mall.. the dispute happening at the strip mall across from midway studios motel in cedar falls here's video from the scene.. the e an allegedll involved in this dispute is surrounded by officers here he was detained, but never arrested kwwls olivia mancino was on the scene she joins us now live this man was telling officers he did nothing wrong-- but witnesses say they opposite-- saying they saw him screaming at a woman in the motel parking lot, pulled out a bat and dragged her into a car. cedar falls strip mall after witnesses say a domestic dispute started in a motel parking lot across the street... "she starts running, ththn he runs after herr/a wooden baseball bat in his hand" listen as the man allegedly involved in the dispute screams at a woman while police hold him back.

"please give me two seconds! please! please! i have to! baby, listen to me, i love you!" witnesses say after chasing the woman with the baseball bat, the man caught her, and dragged her into the car. "he screams at me what are you looking at w/a bunch of profanities and then he jumps in the car, with her legs hanging she drove the car but witnesses say that was not the case. d-n-a testing confirmed they belonged to kyrian. police are still work0ing to find out how the boy made his way to chicago. the family of an unarmed man fatally shot by police is now filing a wrongul death lawsuit. relatives of 28- year-old ryan bolinger, of des moines, say officer vanessa miller used unecessary force aftee bolinger apparrently approached her vehicle back in june. authorities determined miller's actions were justified and a grand jury decided not to indict her. the lawsuit filed includes six counts againn the city -- - ncluding wrongful death and violation of constitutional rights. decision 2015 --in a surprise development today, cedar falls mayor, jon crews, announced he is retiring. he'ss dropping out of the mayor's race and conceding to jim brown. crews says he's conceding his race to jim brown, tjhe tovoted getter in tuesday's cf race. crews has been

mayor for 30 of the last 44 years his surprising announcement comes just as the 69-year-old mayor was settor a run- off with challenger jim brown on december first. crews name will remain on the runoff ballot. crews say he was already planning on tiring two yeaeas from now at the end of this next term. he also talked about his past experiences with run-off elections turning into negative campaigns. unofficial votes from tuesday's election showed cedar falls ard of education member jim brown beating crews by about 700 votes. however that was not a large enough argin to earn a majority of the votes. . .forcing brown anan crews into a run off election. crews "you get into a run off got to do that. i said i don't retire soon so lets do it this year. i'll spend the next two brown "there are some meetings to attend, i've always mentioned the learning curve
