this saturday night in des moines. one person is dead after being shot by police at a college -- a shooting that left the campus in lockdown. it happened monday night at spartanburg methodist college in south carolina. police say an officer was investigating a car break-in when someone got behind the wheel of that car, took off -- and then hit the officer. the officer fired and killed one person inside. another person was later arrested. the officer should be ok. plice are investigating a shooting near another college campus -- this time at clayton state university in georgia. police say the victim has serious between the first and second shot there were about 2 to 3 big thud and as we went out we saw the gentleman layingon the floor begging for help that's when i calleddthe cops. no word yet on whether anyone has been arrested. a mall is locked down after shots are fired. it happened in dearborn,

michigan. no one was hurt -- and no arrests have been made. police called it a dispute check out what one officer is faced with -- in a matter of seconds. body camera video out of oklahoma shows a suspect driving a stolen s- u-v -- and driving it rigdt at an officers squad car. the officer fired two shots as the s-u-v rammed the cruiser. the suspect wasn't wounded -- but police had to use a taser to get her out of the s-u-v. continuing coverage this morning: a man will be sentenced early next year for murdering a woman outside the marion hy-vee. "upon the verdict4 the jury finds you guilty of murder in the first degree." nicholas luerkens has been convivited of first degree murder in the death of lynnsey donald. he killed her - in front of her seven-year old son... in april. luerkens was taken out of the courtroom in handcuffs, telling his family he loved them on his way out the door. as for lynnnsey's family -- her father read this statement.
