near the university of iowa campus...police are now looking for three men. six people were home at the time...including the four college students who live there... kwwl's kristin rogers stopped by the house today, she talked to the students who herself... i had to knock on the door muliple times before talking to the students who told me they were scared to open the door because early this morning it was another knock on the door home. "it didn't really hit you right then. like youhkind of more after more so." college students, trying to comprehend whht happened their faces not shown, because they are still shaken up by the situation. "a couple of big bangs, i didn't exactly know what it was at first but then it ended up, turned out to b, them kicking iithe door." three men, you can see the footprint right here... the door busted in so hard it knocked the wood trim

"one of them, he ended up having the gun, and he was just stay here, don't do anything." then i'm told the man with the gun went upstairs pointinggthe gun at people up there. one of the women on the second floor attempted to hide in this bathroom you can see this door was kicked in as well, this time right into her head leaving this welt... "i heard a scream and i started to sit up and i'm like those are a third door is amaged, this time to a bedroom as a some cash and an old cell phone that wasn't in use before they ran out of the home, throwing this working cell phone back to the owner before they left.... "he threw the phone at me and just started running out of the residents told me the iowa city police were called imediately after the three mennleft their house." they called using this cell phone,,, that the robbers had given back

that farm just one of many areas dealing with damage today. a local elementary school in dubuque here today also trying to recoup from what could end up being massive osses. it's a busy scene atop dubuque's eisenhower elementary school, as work is being done to replace parts of the roof blown off by strong storms. "once that part of the roof was gone, then rain water wws seeping through the ceceling pretty significantly. we had a storage areas, so all of our p.e. equipment and art supplies, many of those have been damaged." dedeite the extensive damages, classes were held pretty much as usual. kwwl's nikki newbrough joins us live. nikki they've got a ways to go. that's right we caught up with the group near waterloo. this group isn't raising money...instead they are raising awareness for vetern suicide. if you were around the waaerloo area during the lunch hour you may have noticed these guys walking on the side of the road. the univeristy of iowa veterans association decided to carry the game ball from minneeta to iowa city. each group walked 15 to 20 miles. it was a tough, windy walk today...but they're walking for awareness of veteran suicide. "i think the main idea behind pound ruck for 22 veterans that t kill themselves every day. so being part of that was really cool because we're not here raising money or raising anything except for awareness." we're told this might be thh first time the university of iowa veterans association has done this. the distance is 286 miles long.

both teams come into today's game unbeaten... the game is scoreless in the first quarter when well-fonda's cole wise from his defensie end position--- tips a brandon bagby pass to himself-f- wise returns the interception 65 yards for a touchdown and a 7-0 newell fonda lead,. don bosco head coach colby yoder can't believe it... but his dons respond.. brandon bgby drops back and hits dylan reiher with a 24 yard touchdown paas---the dons trail 6 a halftime... the game turned on a don bosco accidental onside kick in the third quarter...the dons recover...and turn it into six... jjl sweeney ddshes and brraks several tackles on his way to a 25 yard touchdown runo give don bosco its first lead of the game... 12-7. don bosco gets more later in the third.. bradon bagby finds some running on the keeper and scampers 25 yards to the mustangs one yard line... nick mangrich scores on the next

next week.. m-m-c is the only other 5a state volleyball.. second ranked bettendorf and third ranked cedar falls the tiger's grace burken with the kill, however, bettendorf wins the first two sets..... in the third set, cedar falls comes back. grace burken again with the kill the tigers win the set 26-24. set 4....the tigers taylor dynch comes up big. cf takes the 4th set 25-21. but the bulldogs prevail in the 5th and deciding see 15-9 to advance. the tigers lose 3 sets to two. just proud of how they raise the bar since they have been here and done a greatjob of it... the tigers finish a great season
