light snow north and west of a line from waterloo to prairie du chien. snow accuulations will be less then 1" by friday the deadly shooting at an eastern iowa mall. the june shooting took place side the food ccurt at coral ridge mall. 20-year-old andrea farrington was shot and killed by - this man - 22- year-old alexander kozak. kozak was working as a security guard for r he mall at the time. polices say kozak shot farrington three times in the back. according to unsealed documents, kozak told police farrington and him were in a relationshh. farrington sent a text and broke off their relationship. kozak told police the text made

him snap and he went home to pack his clothes and gun. kokok is currently in custody. his trial is scheduled to start april 12. the re-sentencing court date for a man who shot an eastern iowa lice is now set. eddie chest was supposed to be re- sentenced two weeks ago. chest was cocovicted of shooting lieutenant scott baxter during the robbery of knickers saloon in dubuque six years ago. chest is trying tolget his two 25-year sentences to run at the same timim -- instead of one after the other. the city of north liberty is holding a discussion tonight to talk about a possible resolution to make all city property a weapon free zone. this would include weapons brought oo city properttwith

after library board members in north liberty noticed there was not a weapon free zone policy for their building building here which is home to more than the library itself."
