we have the latest on our website kwwl dot com this thanksgiing marks the 54th year the ginter family has served the dubuque community a turkey dinner. donna ginter, the pivotal figure behind the dinner, died a few years ago, but her family has carried it on in her name. kwwl's brad hanson joins us live now from the t-h media newsroom in dubuque. and brad, preparations are arly complete for this massive meal. they sure are--by this afternoon, all the turkey's had been cooked, the salads had been prepped, and really all that was left to do was slice the turkey. but even though the to-do list is a bit shorter today, this dinner is a huge undertaking. the end is in sight for genny ginter and her teem of volunners. they're almost done preparing a massive meal for thanksgiving--one they estimate will feed more than two thousand meal. "mom consented to the termination of parental rights. she had given up, becasue she had moved on to another relationship. and, decided that was the live she wanted to live." emerson's case ended up in iowa district court "her parental rights for her biological parents were terminated."
