the woman is still in the hospital tonight for mental evaluation. a driver dies after a crash -- caused by slick roads. the crash happened outside of dunkerton on north raymond road this morning the black hawk county sheriff's department says the road was almost fully ice- covered... and a car crossed the center lane and crashed, head-on, with another. the driver of the first car died at the scene - their name is being withheld until family can be notified. a man is expected to reocver after he's shot in the arm. it happened in the 16-hundred block of b avenue northeast around eight last night in cedar rapids. officers say it was a 19-year-old okay. no arrests have been made yet. police arrest a man tied to a thanksgiving day robbery... 28-year-old shawn cade junior... from rock island illinois... was

yesterday.. he's accused of robbing the dutrac community credit union on 14th street in dubuque around 10-30 the morning of thanksgiving. he allegedly told the teller he had a gun, but didn't show a weapon. about four- thousand hogs are killed when the nursery they were in catches on fire. it all happened on brennenman pork's property in ginkgo avenue in wellman last night. kwwl's hillary maglin was in wellman and talked to one of the (sot. cg: hillary maglin) "brennenenan pork took a huge hit 9:30 and 10 tuesday night... a fire ignited inside one of the buildings on brennenman pork's property. the fire engulfed the building and killed an estimated were just 6 weeks old. not every pig the company owned was killed... but the brennenman family says this will still be a major setback for their company.
