connection at this time... an iowa man avoids jail time after making violent threats towards an islamic cultural center... this man 57-year- old gerald ledford, of clinton, pleading guilty to posting threats on facebook towards an islamic center in boston last year. he is sentenced to four years probation with the first six months on house arrest. cedar falls police arrest a man accused of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old at an amvets post. police say 72- year-old ronald nielsen took the child into a closet. the incident ended after the victim's father walked in... nielsen is charged with second degree sexual abuse.... meanwhile... the cedar rapids police department is asking for help in identifying these two suspects involved in multiple thefts from early november. police say the two used stolen credit cards to purchase items. if you have any information, contact the cedar rapids police

the cub was later put in the care of the national forest service... officials said they believe the bear is somewhere between three and four months old... good news here: the bear was in good health after it was rescued... here's an update to a story you might remember from thanksgiving week... a tiger and a goat have become unlikely friends at a zoo in russia -- amazing visitors and employees by wandering together around the park during the day and sharing a shack at night... the safari park is trying to breed endangered tigers in captivity -- a program that requires feeding the animals live prey twice a week... but one of the goats that was meant to be a potential dinner has instead turned into a companion to one of the tigers... the tiger apparently decided that the animal deserved to be a friend -- instead of a meal.. the goat is even sleeping in the tiger's usual spot... while the big cat sleeps on top of the shelter...watching

a bell ringer named alvin is bringing many holiday cheer as he works his post for the salvation army's red kettle program... but -- as kevin rader shows us -- this ringer is a pretty unique volunteer... the roberts in richmond don't get a lot of time to relax. they always need a little help getting going but those who get help are more than willing to give it. "alvin oh my gosh how are you alvin?." he may be the hardest working dog in indiana, "he means joy, happiness. everything you can imagine. i just love him. i just love him i can't say anything more about this precious dog." he goes to nursing homes, hospitals, anywhere where there are people who might need his the thing that

ethan weitzenkamp was missing for more than a week after last being seen on thanksgiving night at home in allison... he left a note saying he needed to start a new life -- but his parents say that doesn't seem like something he'd do... according to his mother's facebook page -- ethan was found last night in st paul. minnesota. the butler county sherriff's department was also able to confirm that ethan is safe at home this morning... we will of course keep you updated as more information becomes avaliable. we'll start off our saturday with plenty of sunshine across
