morning assault that all started at a grocery store. this man -- michael myers -- allegedly charged the officer as he was getting out of his police car -- near the college square manor on boulder drive -- behind the hy-vee store. kwwl's jessica hartman reports. myers started his day at the grocery store. while eating his way through the store -- hyvee assaulted two workers -- one leaving witha bloody lip -- before leaving. hartman "myers ran just a couple blocks away to this apartment complex where he is a their cop cars." that's when cedar falls police officer nick puls spotted him. "the assault lasted about 10 in the head when the other officer tased him and got him off." with so many recent officerinvolved shootings - - i asked if this assault could have escalated to that.
