ringing the bell for the salvation army. organizers say the money raised will help people in need right here in eastern iowa. now -- our next stop will the coralville walmart on december 19th -- where you'll be able to find ally crutcher ringing the bell... newly elected waterloo mayor quentin hart and cedar falls mayor- elect jim brown are competing to see who can raise the most money for the salvation army at their respective walmart locations this weekend... "they do so much for so many people throughout our communities and nationally. so morning." "it is the first time i've bell rung, so it's been very fun to see folks and wish them merry christmas, and see the generosity." the waterloo mayor won the battle during the last five years -- and the salvation army says they're still looking for volunteers to ring bells and collect money...
