not everyone who attenned the event -- supported sanders. a few attendees say tty simply wanted to hear what he had to say. we've got y ou covered live in the newsroom -- jessia hartman kwwl news. a semi is destoryed during a fire in the waverly super eight parking lot. firefighters responded to the incident around one this afternoon. here is a picture a viewer posted on our facebook page when semi was on fire. when our crew made it to the scene -- the semi was destroyed. the fire chief says it could have happened due to some sort of electrical short in the semi's engine. no e was injured in the incident. and when you see news - or if you have pictures or video to share... you can do that by going to our page on facebook.

stay u to date on breaking news a dubuque e n -- who called police to report an attempted burglary wound up getting arrested himself. the man called police last night-- to report a break- in. the offiier who responded asked if they could look around for a the person trying to get inside. while doing that -- officers saw marijuana stems and seeds in plain view-- and later found t to grams of e drug. the man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. . a man is recovering tonight -- after injuring himself by a self- inflicted gunshot wound while deer hunting. the accident happened at the basswood recreation area near around 7:45 this morning. 70-year-old david clark was sitting on a log with his loaded shotgun -- when it went off -- while he was changing his position. he was shot in the hand and then taken to the hospital. he is expected to recover from the incident. now to another hunting accident-- a man as injured from a self-

dubuque and waterloo broke their records early in the day, and we are close to breaking records in cedar rapids and iowa city. we could see anothe inch, to locally 2 inches across the rea. storm track 7 live weather network cameras across eastern iowa are showing much ofofthe same scene. it's wet. be cautious for ponding on the roadways. temperatures right now have about 20 degrees spread across the area. north of the warm front, temperatures are in the 4 4s, south of the warm front temperatures are near 60 degrees. there have been
