ames police have reached out to body shops across the state to have damage from the hit and run... more than 150 students, teachers and community members gather to honor waterloo west student moe sed. students organized a candlelight vigil at the school. they shared a prayer, a message from sed's pastor and some memories of moe. many of the students there knew him, but not everyone, including the two who organized the baptist church pastor):16 "the students reached out to me and it wasn't the school administration, it wasn't some city planners, but it was a couple of students who didn't have classes and know him real well, and said, we could still do something to honor the one that deserves being honored." moe sed's visitation is set for sunday from one to four at the waterloo first united methodist church. his funeral is monday morning at 10-thirty at the first baptist church of waterloo. it's a plan that affects hundreds of thousands of iowans... governor branstad continues

medicaid profram -- now he's told he needs to wait. federal officials are calling for a two-month delay on the switch... governor branstad planned to make the switch starting the first of the year; however, the centers for medicare and medicaid services ordered a halt until march first... that's when management of the health care programs for 560- thousand poor and disabled residents will switch. the city of west branch has to pay up.. that's the ruling from a judge... who says the city owes a wind turbine maker nearly 500- thousand dollars in tax rebates. when acciona windpower built its facility in west branch, the city agreed to eight years of propety tax rebates. but in 2013 -- the city accused the company of not living up to its job creation goal and stopped paying. the judge ruling in the company's favor. it's become a problem -- and police are trying to figure out who's behind it.
